I heard so much about this place. But it did not meet expectations. The food is very average with not many options. The menu had nothing special or appetising. Few North Indian food options had good taste like daal, rice while Maharashtrian food was not upto the mark except various chutneys and dhemsa vegetable they offered. No appetising starters except their tomato soup and ber. I really have to say we have eaten such good food at dhabhas and other restaurants, it was not ghar ka style too. Home made food is much tastier than this. A very annoying was their plate system. Except 2-3 starters including soup, you have to keep one big steel plate in hand for 3 hours, if you want to eat any of the other items. Ek choti plate bh nh hai.Katoris and spoons are elsehere. It was such an annoying thing.
The ambience is okay. There is a place for the kids to play, that idea is good. They have taken care of children. Dining table and chairs are very average. Toilet was initially okay but later got flooded with water making it an unpleasing sight. The drainage system is poor. No one was looking after it. Paan area was messy with no one to take care of it. The vibe was negative. Paan material was very diluted even if they want to serve meetha paan. It is just you apply 2-3 liquids on a leaf and eat. The whole experience of having a paan is nil. In dessert they served moong halwa which tasted only cardamoms. Puran poli tasted only cardamoms. I don't understand why the place is so hyped up, only because of celebrity chef. Did anyone not give appropriate feedback to them? We spent 5000 rs there, we went with our friends families, but no one liked the food. So what was the whole point of going to such a place. They should seriously think of their menu, recipes, taste and the restaurant vibe. Only a few changes would...
Read moreThe place is buzzing with activity. Aroma of delicious food is in the air. Good place to enjoy vegetarian food with family.
Taste of food is good. Lot of options available to satisfy the hunger. Eat to your heart's content. Satisfied.
It's quite nice. It's mainly for those who are curious about native rich Maharashtrian food, or the kids or youngsters from Maharashtra itself, who never got to taste wholesome Maharashtrian Thali. It's a Buffe system, designed by famous shef Mr. Vishnu Manohar, and you can get unlimited food inside once you pay specific amount.
Its decorated as per theme of rural Maharashtra. But you'll also find some north Indian dishes like Paneer subji (which was very tasty), dal tadka etc to make it more inclusive. The infrastructure has got a bit old, and on crowdy day, it might get litte uncomfortable, but we didn't have any issue. Lots of small small items to taste, which we usually don't eat. We had nice, different experience. Visit if you are a group of young people, or if you have good appetite.
Just cleaning service needs to be more attentive, and helpers need to be supportive. Its quite a big area, one needs help locate different items.
420rs for Rajasthani & Marathi Buffet. Big playground with different stalls spreaded around the area. Good quality food & seating arrangements. Must Try - Tomato Soup, Jhunka Bhakar, Aloo bindhi, Patodi Rassa, Chutneys, Boiled bor etc.
Note - Only issue is the owner attitude, not at all welcoming. Just show the board when asked for the menu!
Like the place, food is good. But few items were out when reached around 9:00 pm. But it was tasty vegetarian food. Options for snacks and dessert should be increased. Both Marthi a d Punjabi food in menu. Ambiance is nice. Self service....
