Alibaba (Arabian Kasba) Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Navi Mumbai

Worst experience. I visited here with my friends. We were around 8 people. I told the manager that I have Zomato gold membership he told me to show the code and I did the same. After that we ordered some tandoor items but they were not available at that time. I can totally understand that they have timings for tandoori items so without any further discussion we decided to order something from Chinese section.

The manager was taking our order. He asked me on which dish I need gold offer. Firstly I didn't understand what he was asking. I told him the gold offer will be applied on the bill right? The second costly dish will be free. He told me no you will have to choose now on which dish you want to apply Zomato gold. Then we ordered chicken crispy and paneer crispy and told him apply Zomato gold on this dishes.

He said ok and went, after 20 mins of waiting he came and told that you can't use your Zomato gold. Since you are more that 4 people. I really don't understand what's the point if we are more that 4 people. If I have Zomato gold and you are a gold partner then you must accept the gold offer.

He told me no you can't use it and we won't prepare the order. We had to leave the place without having any food. I was really surprised by the behavior of the manager and staff. They were like literally arguing that we won't allow you to use. You must have more that two Zomato gold membership with you. All rubbish reason. The real reason was they were not in mood to prepare any dishes at that time. Everyone was roaming here and there. So if your kitchen is closed atleast update it on Zomato or you could have told us before entering the restaurant. Worst experience won't visit this...

My Name is Shezaad Shaikh, daily travelling to Vashi for work, I am Social Media Analyst as well as working for Ngo, I am very foody and love to have heavy food as we hsve ordered Normal Raan Khapsa Rice At Ali Baba & Made Understand to owner of Ali Baba, Mr. Ali but as he said to us that he has done Hotel Management So We Thought that he will surprize us but the case was wrong and Mr. Ali gave us Biryani with some khapsa masala added in it, as we told him that this is not khapsa and he reply this is the way i made khapsa (Biryani), I reside at Mumbai Central (Nagpada) and i said myself "Ab Yeh Batayege Khapsa Kaisa Hota Hai" Our mood was pissed off and i literally wanted to leave the food but the service person was good and we were hungry so thought "Khalete Hai", My Suggestion is If you don't know what is khapsa then remove that from Menu or don't make people fool who will eat that stuffs anyhow. It was a fantastic restaurant once upon a time but now the service they offered is pathetic the food is ok but it takes years to get your order place in your desk and that too without any other fellow customers. Been there around 10 at night and waited for like 1 hour to get my food and then wait again to get roti aur anything u want its like either they don't want money or customers. And yeah if u are a regular customer then its fine they will come to u and talk to u want but if u go once in whule they will not even look at u. Been there solo and with groups as well for parties and birthday. My advice is to go and search for a better restaurant rather then ruining ur day sitting and waiting...
