Donna Sky Lounge — Restaurant in Navi Mumbai

We were a group of friends who visited this place on a Thursday evening for dinner plans. :)The place has beautiful decor and its pretty new. :)Was easy to find parking and has valet. :(We wanted an Ac place but the Ac wasent working so we choose the outside area. :(There is loud music here even when there was no one around, and when requested to lower the music a bit they were kinda rude and justified themselves saying its a lounge vibe. :)The entrees were good. Nachos, Thai chilly chicken, Angara kabab were just wow! The mocktails also were good. :(Amritsari Tandoori fish, Burmese Khao seh, Prawns n chives dumplings, Biscoff cheese were pathetic though. :(They really need to fine tune their menu. Great food and terrible food are really two ends, which put us off. :(They also charge service charge, when we asked them to reduce the charge to 5% they were again rude n said they will remove it totally rather. Well your choice!

I would have liked if the service overall was a bit more graceful. There is always a way to say 'No'. Not all of them were rude but yeah these two incidents really made us think if it was worth coming here again. We go to so many places and staff is so nice even when we disagree on service charge. Clients are not eating your food for free. Pay your staff good enough so that they dont depend on the service charge so much that the service is soley is dependant on their judment on weather a client will tip them or not. DO NOT DO YOUR PRIVATE EVENT HERE. These guys are complete jerks. I booked out the private section and paid the advance 2 weeks prior, picked out the menu, worked with the decorator etc did everything basically. During my conversations with the Manager — Veeraaj — he mentioned a few times about how packed it gets over the weekends , how much money the place makes etc . I just ignored those comments cause I didn’t care. But I later realised how cunning he is and how this place only cares about that and has no integrity and ethical standards as to how to treat their customers. THEY CANCELLED MY SISTER’S BABY SHOWER A DAY BEFORE. Imagine, a day before. They said their AC is not working and the part needs to be ordered and will take time. There was no problem solving on their end. This place also has a semi outdoor area and an outdoor area . So when I suggested them to shift the event to the semi outdoor area or outdoor area … they said no, can’t do. I knew something was fishy. I later got a confirmation from the staff that they got an event booking for a bigger party , which is why they cancelled mine a day before. We also dropped by at night to see if the AC really was the issue or not. Surprise surprise — the AC was working , everything was fine and the section was filled with people. THESE GUYS ARE JERKS.
