If you’re craving authentic Punjabi flavors, Punjab Se near Vashi railway station is the place to be! We had the pleasure of indulging in some mouthwatering dishes that truly captured the essence of Punjab.

We started with the Pindi Chole Bhature : a classic that was perfectly spiced and paired with soft, fluffy bhature.

Dahi Pattice Chat : it was a delightful mix of tangy, spicy, and sweet flavors, making it an instant favorite.

Malai Soya Chaap : it was creamy, well-marinated, and cooked to perfection, a must-try for chaap lovers.

The Paneer Chur Chur, a standout dish, had a unique flaky texture with generous paneer filling

We also had their Sweet Lassi with Malai—thick, creamy, and indulgent, just how a lassi should be!

We ended our feast on a high note with the Roasted Almond Rabdi Falooda, a dessert so delicious it’s hard to put into words.

The ambiance is simple yet inviting, with Punjabi-themed wallpapers adding charm. The seating is cozy, and the service is prompt and courteous, enhancing the overall experience.

Visited Punjab Se for a hearty Punjabi feast, and it didn’t disappoint!

Dal Pakwan – The crispy pakwan paired with the perfectly spiced dal was a great start. Could have been a bit warmer, though.

Pindi Chole Bhature – Authentic flavors! The bhature were fluffy, and the chole had that deep, rich spice kick.

Aloo Kulcha – Soft, buttery, and well-stuffed. It went perfectly with the side of chole.

Mix Chur Chur Naan – Crisp and loaded with flavors, with a generous stuffing of paneer and potatoes. The accompanying dal makhani was creamy and indulgent.

Mango Falooda – A refreshing delight! Thick, rich, and full of mango goodness.

Lassi – Classic Punjabi-style! Thick, sweet, and served in a tall glass—just how it should be.

Service & Ambience: The service was quick, and the staff was polite. The ambiance gives you a proper Punjabi dhaba feel, making the experience even better.

Verdict: If you’re craving authentic North Indian flavors, Punjab Se is a great pick. A few minor tweaks in food temperature and seasoning could make it even better. Will definitely return for another round of chole...

If you’re craving simple, soul-satisfying Sindhi or Punjabi comfort food, Punjab Se Refreshments in Sector 17, Vashi, is a hidden gem. The place is small and modest, but the food packs a punch. I tried their Dal Pakwan, and it instantly reminded me of a homemade Sunday breakfast—crunchy pakwan with flavourful dal topped with chutney and onions.

The Aloo Kulcha with chole was filling, and the kulcha was soft, lightly crisped on the outside, and generously stuffed. Their Dahi Pattice had that perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and sweet notes—truly a must-try street-style item.

But what really stood out was the Rose Lassi—rich, thick, not overly sweet, and refreshing. You can tell their ingredients are fresh and portions are generous.

Service is polite though a bit slow during rush hours, which is understandable given the popularity of the place. Seating is basic, but hygiene is well-maintained.

This is a great spot for a casual breakfast or evening snack, especially if you want to enjoy authentic, vegetarian Sindhi/Punjabi dishes without...
