I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Sadda Punjab restaurant, and while I understand that it was an especially busy day, I wanted to take a moment to share some observations that I believe could help improve the overall experience for future guests. My feedback is intended to be constructive, as I have been in the restaurant industry for the past 9 years, running four of my own establishments. This experience has given me some insight into the challenges of managing both front-of-house and kitchen operations during busy periods.
During my visit, I noticed that there were only two waitstaff members handling approximately 10-12 tables at once. While I understand that busy times can lead to staffing shortages, it was clear that the limited number of servers was a significant factor contributing to delays in service. The waitstaff did a commendable job moving between tables, managing their responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism, despite the heavy workload. I truly appreciate their hard work and dedication under these circumstances.
However, the limited staff also seemed to affect the timing of food delivery. The wait for food was longer than usual, which I understand can sometimes be caused by issues in the kitchen, especially when there are not enough hands on deck. It’s possible that kitchen staffing levels were also stretched, leading to delays in food preparation.
Having run multiple restaurants myself, I can fully relate to the difficulties of managing operations during peak hours. I understand how staffing shortages can put a strain on both the front and back of house. To ensure smooth service, especially during busy periods, it may be worth considering additional support or a reevaluation of staffing levels to better handle the volume of customers. This could help minimize delays, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience.
Please understand that this feedback comes from a place of understanding and experience, and I hope it can be useful in refining operations at the restaurant. I look forward to seeing how The Sadda Punjab continues to evolve and grow.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback, and for the continued hard work...

We recently visited this place with the family and it was indeed a great experience for us with the food and drinks we tried.
The interior of this restaurant is really great. The ambience was awesome, they have arranged to play some awesome punjabi songs which pretty much matches with the the ambience. The seating arrangements are also very comfortable. Their staff is also very humble and they had punjabi attire in the restaurant.
Now talking about the food and drinks we ordered -
✨ In drinks we had Virgin Hazelnut Martini 🍸 and chilli Mango 🥭🍹. Virgin Hazelnut Martini was sweet and had chocolate taste. Chilli Mango was the combination of Mango juice with slight of chilli sauce. Both were Chilling and refreshing 🥂.
✨ In appetizers we had Tandoori Chicken Wings and Murgh malai Tikka. Both were amazing and yummy and served with the salad and green pudina chutney. I liked the murgh Malai tikka , it was one of the best malai chicken dish I had. Highly recommended 💯
✨ In mains we had Amritsari Murgh Masala with Laccha Paratha and cheese garlic naan and Chicken Biryani post that. Amritsar murgh Masala was creamy and spicy , great in taste and chicken was also very well cooked. Biryani was good in taste.
✨ Now it's my favourite part to talk about, yes desserts. So we had Sizzling Hazelnut Brownie and Jalebi with Rabdi. Both were really tasty and awesome. It was really mouthwatering.
So overall it's a great experience. The food quality and the quantity both were commendable.
Highly...
Read moreAll I can say is a very Disheartening Experience – Felt Completely Let Down. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience left me genuinely disappointed. I had gone to this place expecting a Punjabi hotel, but even that now feels uncertain. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt cold and lifeless — no ambience, no authentic punjabi music, no warmth .
The service was painfully slow, almost like we were invisible. We waited... and waited... with no one checking in on us, no water offered, and no sign of urgency from the staff. It felt like the staff just didn’t care — like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. There was no sense of hospitality, no basic courtesy, we still maintained our patience and were very polite but it was also taken for granted.
When the food finally came, it was just okay. Not bad, not great — just average. But by that point, we were already too drained by the experience to enjoy it.
Then came the shock was the cost of the bill : we didnt even order mineral water but we were charged ₹500 for just four bottles of water. In addition to it there was an additional service tag added to the bill for the waiting and delay, that was the final blow. For a place that offered so little in terms of experience, this level of pricing was hard to justify.
It’s hard to describe how disappointed I felt — not just because the money was wasted, but because what could have been a nice meal turned into a sad, frustrating memory. I walked out not just unsatisfied, but genuinely...
