🏢Taste of Punjab restaurant makes you feel like you're in Punjab and the celebration and the traditional live music is like someone is getting married!
🏢The decor they've designed is exceptionally well. The red being the basic colour along with other bright colours which will definitely make up your mood.
Underneath your dining table they've kept sewing machine pedal. (The classic sewing machine we all must have seen at our Grandma's home) you can keep peddling it. It's very entertaining!
📌 LOCATION- Inside Satra Plaza. There are many other restaurants in this particular building but TOP is something unique.
📌 BEVERAGES- Pina colada- Fresh and balanced blend of coconut and pineapple. Would have been a little thick in consistency!
📌 STARTERS 🔵Paneer Gurkand - Tender paneer which was well marinated. Exceptionally good. An ideal paneer which you can expect from an Authentic Punjabi Cuisine Restaurant.
🔵Chatpate Tawe potato- Chatpate powder was the mixture of a few spices with chaat masala on hot served small chunks of potatoes tasted just great.
🔴Hara Bhara Kebab- The simple yet most loved starter in any restaurant. The cover was thin crispy had great texture. Flavour wise it could have little better.
🔴Mutton Lucknowi Seekh - Were salty and it was a turn off.
🔴Bhatti da murg - An average dish. Chicken marination would have been better.
📌MAIN COURSE- 🔵Patiyali Shahi Paneer - Best in mains! Tender paneer and thick gravy. Bliss.
🔴Prawns Curry- The coconut based gravy won my heart but the prawns were little overcooked! Though it didn't affect the flavour but it surely affected the texture of the curry.
🔊LIVE 🔴Butter chicken dosa- These live counters are just amazing. Whatever you want however you like they'll make it for you. This dosa was no exception.
📌 DESSERT 🍨Gulab Jamun - The mawa in Gulab jamun must taste good. This was a disappointing dish.
🍨Jalebi with rabdi - Jalebis on fleek. Crispy and sweet with thick rabdi. Always tastes great together!

Read moreI first visited Taste of Punjab five years ago, and recently, we decided to revisit during Christmas. The experience was nothing short of amazing! The quality, variety, and flavors of the food remain unmatched by any other buffet I’ve ever tried. What sets this place apart is the vibrant cultural touch – the stage performances. Every half hour or so, a lively Punjabi couple takes the stage, dancing to traditional tunes, and the energy is infectious. The entire crowd often joins in, dancing to loud, cheerful music that lifts everyone’s spirits. It’s not just dining; it’s an experience! Coming to the food – they serve an extensive array of authentic Punjabi dishes, catering to every palate. The service is impeccable, with dishes being brought straight to your table. The prawns fry, mutton masala, and biryani were absolute standouts, bursting with flavor. And the sweet section? Simply delightful! From gulab jamun and rabdi jalebi to lassi and chaas, it was a feast for dessert lovers.. We enjoyed 5-6 different starters, all of exceptional quality and taste. The highlight of our evening was the warm hospitality of the manager, Mr. Koushik, who ensured we felt right at home. His gestures were thoughtful, making the experience even more memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant is clean, welcoming, and full of good vibes, making it a place where you just want to linger a little longer. I wholeheartedly recommend Taste of Punjab to anyone looking to immerse themselves in Punjabi culture, music, and, of course, incredible food. Having tried several buffets in Navi Mumbai, I can confidently say this one is by...
Read moreThere are valets of different restaurants who park your car by charging some fee. There is also a society nearby which allows parking for some 3+ hours for ₹50. The mall in which this restaurant is, seems very dull and quiet. Since we went on a Sunday afternoon, I found very less people around the mall in corridors. In fact the number of people in all the restaurants was also very less. I think this will not be the case in evening and night.
Taste of Punjab has a good ethnic Punjabi ambience in terms of wonderful decorations. They have wonderfully planned set up at entry for people to click pictures. They have plenty of comfortable seating. There was a weird smell at the entry point which may be because of the moisture in the air due to monsoons. From time to time there is a Punjabi dance and dhol performance which takes place. I think it happens at an interval of 40 min Or so. This was such a mood enhancer. Almost all the guests were dancing to the tunes when they came on stage. We literally forgot our food at that time. The food is both non veg and veg plus chaat and sweets. Besides this there are hard drinks and mocktails plus chass and lassi. We found better tasting options in veg main course. In starters both veg and non veg were good with options varying from chicken, fish and mutton. We loved the sarson ka saag with white butter, dal makhni and rogan josh. In chaat we liked gol gappe and dahi puri. In sweets firni was very good, just needed to be more cold. The washroom was very clean and hygienic.
Overall, I would recommend this place for all. It's good for a family, youngsters,...
