Rarely does the overall rating fall below the actual food rating. But this place is so overpriced that it qualifies for it. Average food and at 2,100/person it’s definitely not worth it, except when you want that lavish 6-star ambiance. Same dishes are available at other places with better taste. The mocktails were mediocre too - tasted like a simple mixture of canned juices.
BUT - their exotic menu calls for another visit to test them out.
Food: 3/5 We got avacado toast, kabab platter, paneer kathi roll, Tom kha veg soup. For drinks - 360 sour, happy tree and cold coffee. The avacado toast was ok and can definitely have a better spice spectrum and a lighter and crispier bread. Kabab platter was decent - the corn we’re not blending with the kababs and the paneer tikka had nice spices but can be softer. Broccoli was really good! ManyNorth Indian spots are our there with more sumptuous kababs. Kathi roll was sub par. It was loosely packed so immediately came apart when we took the toothpick out. It also had a pungent mustard flavor (which, to their credit, the waiter offered to remove) that I’m surprised they have in their recipe. Tom Kha veg soup was quite soury but ok as that’s how it should be. The drinks again were all mediocre. I’d have expected them to use fresh fruit juices in the mocktails but they were all canned so tasted like a simple mixture than an eclectic concoction.
Service: 5/5 Courteous and professional servers as expected. Took nice photos too.
Ambiance: 6/5 As expected, the ambiance is top notch. And that’s what you pay for.
Sustainability: 5/5 All reusable items used -...

We went were there for lunch in "360", which is the main multi-cuisine 24x7 restaurant located at lobby level. The place was abuzz with people with almost 100% occupancy. The layout and ambiance are simply superb. There is a separate enclosure for family get-together, occasional celebrations and business meeting catering for about 20 people at a time.
The staff- both managers and waiters were polite and prompt. Everything right from the valet parking, to reception desk, main lobby, art and aesthetics to restrooms- are impressive.
Now coming to the main part- the food. The buffet was organized into well defined sections- Chinese, Sushi, European, Asian and Indian cuisines with ample spread in both veg and non veg. In addition, there is a desserts and puddings table. The choices in spreads are sure to spoil you.
There is a bar which caters for the finest wines, liquor, cocktails and mocktails. One of the attraction of the restaurant is "Enoteca", large sized temperature controlled wine cellar by the bar.
The food and drinks for two can cost you up to 1500 bucks. Good place to be in with family and friends- either for special occasions or...
Read moreWas having brunch with a friend from out of town on March 19 at 360, Oberoi, New Delhi. If it hadn’t been for the obvious and very unpleasant food poisoning, both my friend and I started experiencing all of its symptoms since last night (he to a lesser extent than mine… on the other hand I had to call off work duties today), I wouldn’t have bothered leaving a review and simply would have never gone back to this venue (which, anyway, I won’t). But food poisoning is no laughing matter. For the record I had eggs Benedict which were served lukewarm (big mistake on my part to order this, knowing the potential bacterial risk in the hollandaise sauce if not served properly, which it wasn’t) and a medley of bland, tasteless veggies to start with. My friend had a similar assortment of uninspiring veggies, chicken drumsticks and some dal.
Of course incidents happen exceptionally, in any business, yet it is always rather bewildering to witness that a five star hotel such as this Oberoi in Delhi is not able to guarantee the most basic customer expectation, in this day and age: that is that a meal as common as a Sunday brunch taken in their facilities should not be rewarded with a nasty food poisoning 12 hours...
