Delhi Capitals Sports Bar — Restaurant in New Delhi

Can't believe how poorly mismanaged this place is, but aside from that the sheer animosity the staff have towards paying customers. First off we were told to simply sit (and not ask questions basically) and the staff would be over with menus. No staff came. We got our own menus. Then after about ten minutes of being further ignored we approached the staff and placed our orders. I realised we were low on cash so returned to ask the woman if they accepted card. She said yes and immediately motioned me to sit down as if I was bothering her, even though i was trying to avoid an issue with payment. Another woman came with our food and spilled some of the wedges onto the table. She said oh but didn't apologise. The food itself was actually okay, if not pretty good. We availed of a deal broadcasted outside however and instead of a pint of draught beer 5% we got 330ml bottles 3.5% instead. Disappointing. We stayed there for a further hour or more as we had lots of time to kill. No staff approached us in this time. In fact a table of 5 sat down and left after 15 minutes of no one approaching or acknowledging them, I don't blame them. When it came to paying the woman tried to overcharge us and as I was trying to pay in fact another customer was complaining that their table had been ignored for quite some time and it was unacceptable. We had to reluctantly bring the worker to the front of the store to point at a sign with the 'deal' we availed of. The whole time we were there the staff were visibly arguing and bickering with each other. I feel sorry for anyone who works in this place and further still for anyone who gets the experience we got, which appears to be most customers. Terrible establishment. The worst experience I have ever had in this sports bar,This place is terrible. I have never written any bad review ever but felt compelled to by my own experie. I was in such a good mood and the rude staff ruins it all,pathetic behaviour of manager is can't acceptable at any cost,I feel sorry about staff who work under this rude and racist manager,I was in hurry and sat where they told me to sit(where acctually don't want)but as I told that they only show their hospitality to white skinned community,and I have placed my white sling bag on table which was not cleaned,and my bag and even my shirt (forearm area)got stained,I immediately tell staff that you table need to be cleaned properly,but they totally ignored me,then after 15 minutes of wait I finally approachd manager,and his behaviour and response was totally unacceptable,I don't think so he is familiar to service and hospitality industry,his arrogant behaviour shows it all,and I just want to let everyone know that this place is not worth to visit once even,I really feel sorry about staff,I wish I could give minus one,I am wondering how this bar is surviving with this uneducated manager who even don't know how to deal with dinners,worst experience totally unhinged atmosphere,I hardly recommend everyone not to came here to waste your money, moreover owner need to be know that what is happening over here,masse should go to food court instead of this worst place.I odered a tower of tap beer and a grilled Mexican chicken, after that no one is bothered to come to me for next order,then after being ignored I call for bill and left this place and go to food...

I rarely post to review but this was legitimately one of the worst experience customer service wise I’ve come across in Delhi and outside. We literally were waiting atleast 10 minutes without any lineup to be seated where several servers had clearly noticed but not one had approached. It was not until I had gone up to one of the servers to ask if we can seat ourselves or do we have to be assigned a seat during which I get a response “yeah go go sit” in a very rude manner. I was still like it’s fine they’re probably just very busy but then again we were ignored for another 10-15 minutes to even get a menu only to wait again by which I had to loudly ask the manager walking past us (again ignoring us) to kindly have someone even take our orders which he made some weird dismissive comments that I could not understand but after a few minutes (by which we literally had enough and were getting up to leave) he pointed at a server to take our order only to find out the cocktails we wanted will take over 10+ minutes and others they can’t serve. So at this point we just decided to head over to the Irish pub which right away got us a table and drinks.
