Urgent Action Required: Persistent Hygiene and Safety Concerns at Encalm Lounge, Delhi Airport Terminal 3
In light of recent events at Encalm Lounge in Delhi Airport Terminal 3, it has come to my attention that the management is not only aware of but also neglecting a severe pest control issue. Despite being informed of the situation, the lounge continues to operate without adequately addressing the health and safety concerns of its patrons.
My initial encounter with a cockroach near the vending machine was distressing enough, but what is even more alarming is the apparent apathy displayed by the management in response to such a critical issue. Despite being made aware of the pest control problem, they have failed to take effective measures to rectify it, thereby jeopardizing the health and well-being of every individual who utilizes the lounge services.
This blatant disregard for hygiene and safety standards is unacceptable and poses a serious risk to public health. It is deeply concerning that the management is willing to compromise the health of their patrons for the sake of continued operation. Such negligence not only reflects poorly on the establishment but also raises serious questions about its commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
As a concerned patron, I strongly urge the management of Encalm Lounge to prioritize the health and safety of their customers by immediately implementing comprehensive pest control measures and ensuring regular maintenance to prevent recurrence. Additionally, transparent communication regarding the steps taken to address this issue is essential to regain trust and confidence in the establishment.
In the absence of prompt and decisive action, I fear that Encalm Lounge will continue to pose a significant health hazard to its patrons. It is imperative that the management acknowledges the seriousness of the situation and takes proactive steps to remedy it before further harm is done.
I implore fellow travelers to exercise caution when considering utilizing the services of Encalm Lounge until concrete steps are taken to address the ongoing hygiene and safety concerns. Our health and well-being should never be compromised for the sake of...
Read moreThis was my first time at Delhi International Airport, and I was excited since I love lounge experiences. With a 3-hour layover, I thought it would be a great place to relax, have some good food, and unwind. I frequently visit the 080 Lounge at Bangalore Airport and expected the Delhi lounge to be even better, being in the capital city. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed.
To begin with, there was an incredibly long queue to get in, and I ended up waiting for almost 45 minutes just to enter. The situation was chaotic, with people cutting in line and pushing their way through. It felt disorganized and poorly managed, unlike anything Iâve seen at other lounges.
Once inside, I needed to find a washroom after the long wait, and to my surprise, there wasnât one inside the lounge. I had to exit the lounge, show my slip to get back in, and use the common restrooms outside, which were in terrible condition. There were only three loos available for men, resulting in another long queue. It was honestly one of the worst restroom experiences Iâve ever had.
Back in the lounge, the food selection was extremely limitedâjust two or three dishes. The quality was poor, and there were no cups or spoons available. I had to go to the kitchen myself to request them, only to be treated rudely by the staff. There was no seating available either, and the lounge felt overcrowded and small. People were standing behind me, waiting for me to finish my food so they could sit, making the whole experience even more uncomfortable.
Frustrated, I left the lounge before finishing my meal and ended up going to a cafeteria outside, where I could finally eat in peace. This was one of the worst lounge experiences Iâve ever had, and it needs major improvement. A capital city like Delhi deserves a better lounge with good food, clean facilities, and...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this lounge.
Entry Process: The lounge had a long queue, and after waiting 15-20 minutes, we were informed it was full and there would be an additional delay of 15 minutes. By the time I got in, I had waited nearly 45 minutes. If youâre in a hurry, this waiting time can be a major inconvenience. Before visiting, I recommend checking your card eligibility for lounge access using the Card Insider app to avoid any confusion.
Ambience and Space: The lounge was clean but extremely overcrowded. It was difficult to find a seat as every table and chair was occupied. Some guests were rude, reserving seats with their bags, and a few visibly drunk individuals added to the discomfort.
Food: The food was the standout feature of this lounge. Dinner was available around 7 PM, and the buffet was well-organized with a variety of veg and non-veg options. The dishes were delicious, with desserts and soft drinks included. Given that the lounge cost only two rupees with card access and the food was unlimited, it felt like excellent value for money. There is paid bar if you are into that.
Facilities: I didnât notice any toilets in the lounge, but I might have missed them since I was rush. For resting, the overcrowded atmosphere made it hard to relax, and the wait time for entry consumed a lot of time, which could be problematic for travelers on tight schedules.
Conclusion: This lounge is an excellent option if youâre looking for good, affordable food at the airport. However, if youâre seeking a calm space to relax or are short on time, it may not be worth the hassle. Just look at the...
