Chaayos — Restaurant in New Delhi

I m a regular at Chaayos and love their chai along with bun Maska but this visit to the Terminal 3 arrival outlet was terrible. When you visit to such a food chain then what you really expect is HYGIENE coz u pay, may be 10 times more for the same thing what you will pay at a roadside Vendor. I ordered a bun Maska and Poha along with Chai. I noticed the guy neither wore hand gloves nor did he use the tong but was using his bare hands to prepare my order. I walked up to him and asked them to be more hygienic when they prepare food, they said they don’t have a policy of using gloves or tongs - that was a shocker for me (May be i shud check out other Outlets of Chaayos now). The worst thing, when Poha was served it had a hair from the man’s hand - yuck 🤮 I again gave him the feedback about the hygiene issue and told him about the hair particle in the Poha. I am never eating at this outlet for sure.

Had visited this place few days back. They serve awesome tea. Even, the snacks are also delicious. Though I ordered “Mint Lemonade” for myself as I was looking for some refreshing drink and it actually served the purpose. The staff was polite and soft spoken. The best thing about Chaayos which touched my heart was that they offered free milk for my baby. They charged zero rupees for it. Even they sterilised the feeder properly (though I had not asked them to do so and even I was unsure whether they will do it or not as many other food joints had straight forwardly neglected our request to provide milk even when we were ready to pay for it). In order to pay for their generosity, we ordered some snacks as a thanks giving gesture and needless to say every bite of it was awesome.

Thanks a lot Chaayos for such a wonderful service and being a helping hand in time of need. We will surely come back on...

Had a very refreshing tea today at Chaayos , it was a very wonderful experience . Their snacks were very delicious as I ordered kulhad tea with Matar Kulcha also I suggest you all to try their snacks also (so good in taste) . The chaayos staff service is excellent, they work with proper hygiene while preparing orders, and serving service was also fast . Secondly they were very humble to their guest and even suggested me what should i prefer with tea. Really, Thanks a lot to chaayos for serving their such a nice hospitality to their customers and being helpful in time of need and i am definitely will visit back here whenever I’ll travel from IGI...
