Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Ample parking available inside premises (located on akbar road, follow google maps, nearest metro khan market). Wasn’t crowded (no waiting till 2pm), AC interiors (good hall), clean seating and comforting vibe. No ala carte, only thali available (Rs 550 each). The refillable thali was elaborate, starting with chaas, rice dhokla/jalebi, ragda pattice chaat, 6 types of sabzi (mix veg, matar paneer, kadi, dal, kala chana, aloo), roti/makka rotla, rice/khichdi, and fruit custard. Food was acceptable (not sure about the authenticity of gujarati preparation/taste) and was served with homely love! Unfortunately, they don’t join the tables and hence, we had to adjust over 2 tables. Overall, definitely premium compared to other bhavans.
p.s. It is canteen culture here. So, they would start serving as soon as you take a table and would expect you to leave once...

They apparently serve Gujarati thali which has no taste of Gujarat at all. Bajra roti was the tiniest i have ever seen with no proper taste, Thepla were like stone hard. The only edible item was phulka out of all bread options. Sweets were okay. Vegetables were again okay with nothing out of the box.

And this was in an almost empty restaurant with hardly 3-4 busy tables. The manager was happy enjoying the cricket match so there was no one to raise a concern as well.
1100 for 2 would be worth spending if you eat at some better place or donate instead of...

I went there and started with my love "chai" then we tried their starters fafda, khaman, thepla and pakodas which we totally loved.
The environment of this place is so positive you will feel totally different and happy. Then we had their thali which had suji halwa, besan laddu, papad, fulkas , aloo matar, lobia and each dish was a little sweet there you know that the dishes have gujarati touch to them.
The prices are very economical. Must visit atleast once if you want to have wholesome...
