First off, for anyone reading this review, I am a Maharashtrian and this IS NOT authentic Maharashtrian food (or 'Mumbai street food' like many other reviewers expected). The pav is nothing like it's supposed to be (then again that issue exists for most of Delhi) and the bhaji/sabzi, the preparation, the ingredients are a far cry from the real deal. At this point, if you wanted authentic Maharashtrian food, you can stop reading this review and hunt elsewhere.

Next, even for basics like service and cleanliness, most tables there would fall short and abysmally so. The people who take the order and serve it, often forget about it. Folks may come and just pick up anything that's stacked there (there goes your food!) and no one bothers to check. The service was the worst among all stalls at Dilli Haat.

Lastly, the prices were horribly wrong. Nothing justifies what they charge for food that's otherwise really basic (or lower). The vada pav, misal and dabeli, probably their fastest moving food items, are all bad and yet are charged pretty high. Nothing wrong with paying as much for food at Dilli Haat in general, but you might as well eat better...

Nothing Maharashtrian about it

I am a Maharashtrian food lover. I always crave for a place that serves a good Vada pav or misal pav. I specially visited this place hoping to get a taste of Maharashtrian food, but I was so disappointed that I will not recommend this place to anybody.

It is located within Delhi haat and probably that's why it is exorbitantly priced. For example A plate of Vada Pav costs Rs.110. assuming that there are 2 in one plate.

Now the taste is not Maharashtrian at all. I ordered Misal Pav. The only thing they got right was the Pav. The misal was served with gathiya Sev in it and was basically aloo sabji. I also ordered Dhapate which was nothing but 3 small aloo rotis served with aloo sabji again instead of Sev or moong usal.

All in all a total...

Pros: Excellent place Maharashtrian Food or should I rather say Mumbai Street Food Taste is better than what you find in Mumbai's Streets

Ever since they've moved to New building there's good space to sit and ambiance is nice also the place is well maintained and clean

Owners are polite & provide good customer service also Service boys are helpful and will explain the food items well to you if required

Taste is Good which brings most people back to this place

Cons. Location in new building is at a corner surrounded with other restaurants which was somewhat a difficult to find

Prices when compared to Mumbai are a bit on the higher side (however when you compare price of 2 burgers to a plate of Vada pao...

I'm a repeat offender here! 😁 As a Haryanvi, I'm obsessed with their Maharashtrian cuisine. This place is a gem amidst many state-specific shops. 🌟 My go-to orders are Vada Pav, Dabeli, Aam Ras, and Puranpoli (loaded with ghee, yay! 🤩). This time, I tried Methi Thepla, served with Aloo Sabzi and Raita - flavors on point! 👌 Although it's a bit pricey, the authenticity they bring to the table (literally! 🍴) makes it worth every penny. As someone who's far from home, it's lovely to have a taste of Maharashtra here. Highlights: 👌 Authentic Maharashtrian flavors 🤩 Generous use of ghee 🌮 Variety of options 👍 Lovely service Will I return? Absolutely! 👍

This is the place to be at whenever you miss Mumbai food. The Vada Pav is to die for and transforms you to the streets of mumbai. They’re is a guy who gets this amazing Khullar chai from somewhere behind and can moderate the sugar and milk in the tea just perfect to your taste. If you are around the INA market or strolling at Dilli Haat it’s a perfect spot to rest your feet and take care of the quick hunger pangs. It’s also a great place to swing by and pause if you are too tired of driving through the Delhi peak hour traffic.
