Mellow Garden | Rajouri — Restaurant in New Delhi

It was drizzling that day since morning. The day was cloudy and nice. We went for lunch at The Mellow Garden. It turned out to be a superb experience for all of us. Going there for the first time nobody can imagine the world he or she is entering into. The world is completely vibrant and colorful. Wider than and more than you can imagine. Every moment here is a really fun experience. Such ambiance and decor double your enjoyment. Every dish gets a bonus in taste due to this. In fact, the dishes are quite tasty, well presented, and nicely curated. The Marsh Mellow is in the middle of the main food hub of Rajouri Garden. A lift at the ground level entrance takes you to level 3 or 2 where this beautiful world operates. Both the floors are full of vibrant colors all around.

The overall atmosphere of The Mellow Garden is very lively. The place is quite popular among families. Equally, you can see a party or celebration here on either or both the floors. Kid’s birthday celebrations are mainly the key attraction here. Kids enjoy here to the fullest. In fact, there is a separate Kid’s zone on the second floor. On the third floor, there is an exclusive party section. Also, there is a buffet area there. So if you visit here with your small or young kids, set them free here to enjoy here complete the fountain, birds, monkeys, and the kid’s zone. They really love coming here. It gives them a free and colorful world full of energy. The place is also popular for kitty parties. The staff at The Mellow Garden is polite and humble. Service is good. Food is excellent.

That makes every bit of time you spend at The Mellow Garden, every bit of food, and every sip of drink full of enjoyment. From the Hearty Soups, we had Talumein Chicken, Talumein Veg, and Manchow Veg. All three are tasty and good quantity. From Indian Non-Veg starters, we had Punjabi Machhi Tikka. Tikka is awesome and so is the chutney accompanying it. We had Peshawari Mushroom Kebab from the Indian Vegetarian starters section. This is also quite tasty. There is a Chatoori Chaats section in their menu that you can try for some change in taste with these spicy items. We had Puchka Chat from there. The Puchka is really sturdy and strong. Never breaks. The filling inside it needs a little attention. It was almost negligible. There are around 6-7 different types of masala water you get to pour in the Puchka and enjoy it.

Fried Dimsum Chat – Veg is a must try at The Mellow Garden. You will not find it anywhere else. Ragda Masala Chana Tikki is also one of their specialty. Palak Patta Chat is okay. Paneer Tikka Pizza was not very extraordinary. Veg Dum Biryani is very tasty. Finally, in desserts, we had Kesar Badam Phirni in Sakura. Jalebi Kulfi, Rose Kulfi, and Paan Ice Cream. These all desserts are specially curated and hence all are good to go for. I was at Rajouri garden with my friends when we decide to visit mellow garden The place is really beautiful as it is based on a garden theme The staff there was efficient in their work We had For drinks Virgin mojito-it was sweet and sour with a hint of mint in it and was refreshing One night stand- it was made with sweet and sour ginger ale, mint crush and lemonade it was really good Senorita- it had strawberry crush, mango juice and cola so it was presented so beautifully and tasted great with all different flavours complimenting each other For starters Paneer tikka- the paneer was soft and was marinated well in spices so it tasted good Crispy honey chilli potato- they were sweet and spicy the potato were crispy seasoned well it was good For maincourse we had Satrangi punjabi thali which consist of over 40 items both vegetarian and non-vegetarian The items i had were Soya chaap masala- the chaap was soft and came covered in dry masala and it was great Kadahi paneer- it was perfectly spicy masala in which the paneer was covered it was so good Shahi mughlai paneer- the gravy was good in it with the soft paneer it was good Dal makhani- the dal was so good it was creamy and everything was perfect in it Jeera aloo- the potatoes were nicely seasoned and crisp on the out with good jeera flavour Jeera rice- rice cooked to perfection tossed in some jeera and it was good Butter Naan- they were served hot so they were soft and buttery they complimented well with the whole meal Phirni- it was creamy and good with touch of saffron flavour which made it better Gulaab jamun- they were served hot and soft and they just melted in my mouth was so good Lassi (sweet and salty both)- both the lassi was so good came in two big glass you can choose from your preference which one you like they were a little tart and creamy and was amazing. Mellow Garden- The name justifies it all. A place where you see flowers and find peace within it. Located just near Rajouri metro within a km, this place is a must visit. Lovely ambience with beautiful decor. They even used the chimney pipes for decoration. This restaurant has two floors, one for the bar area and another one is for dine-in purpose. The most fascinating part of this restaurant is they offer you a 2+2 on drinks under Zomato gold. Not only did we tried sone good collection of cocktails but also had some food items such as noodles, pizza and chicken tikka. Coming to the cocktails part, pricing is average and if you have gold membership, then you can enjoy the drinks at a very reasonable rate. We had L.I.I.T, sex on the beach and Margherita. Each and every cocktail was so nicely made with such beautiful colour and texture. Under the food section, we had lahori murgh tikka which was so spicy and was marinated with such wonderful spices. Noodles and pizza were lovely. Pizza had a bit of Indian spices and the name stands like " Tandoori Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza". Everything was good and a must visit restaurant if you are in search for a calm and peaceful place to dine with your loved ones.
