Radha Restaurant — Restaurant in Odisha

I recently visited Radha Restaurant for lunch as a nostalgic farewell to the city after completing my B.Tech. Since it was the first restaurant my best friend and I had gone to together back in 2022, we thought it would be meaningful to revisit it one last time. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience.

While I understand that not every restaurant needs to be trendy or aesthetic, basic maintenance and hygiene are non-negotiable. Sadly, Radha Restaurant seems to have completely neglected both:

1.The chair covers were torn and looked completely worn out.

2.The ground floor’s plywood partitions were broken and left unrepaired.

3.The washbasin was so dirty that we didn’t even feel comfortable touching it.

4.The white plates they served food in were stained yellow from overuse and lack of proper cleaning.

5.The bowl of dal served looked so unappetizing and unhygienic that I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything, even though I had paid the full bill.

Radha restaurant is very old restaurant and as the time passed it earned a good name and fame in the Brahmapur. It is a family restaurant with limited amount of seating facility. Ambience is ok type and budget friendly restaurant. It is located near old bus stand. It has got its Hotel as well. Located at prime place that's true but hotel needs to upgrade it's rooms and amenities. They don't provide breakfast in the hotel but give lunch and dinner. There is one guy from Nepal very positive in his job, Named Om Parkash Thapa, and he speaks very good Oriya, unbelievable. I took Tandoori Chicken 🐔🍗 it was very tasty and soft, but tandoori without mint chutney is incomplete 😕. It has a very wide variety of menu and the service is also quite fast. Parking is ample but at peak time you may not find parking space. During lunch and dinner time you may find huge rush and due to it you may have to wait for 15 - 20 mins. Very good restaurants in the city avarage price and reasonable for every one .. Tasty was very awesome.. center of city .fair distance from old bus stand .. Chicken biryani was very yummy and every non- veg items ware looking good and tasty very crowded in the time of afternoon 1.30 P.m to 3.00 p.m Lunch are ready from 12.30 p.m and dinner are very delicious.. Only one more thing i am disappointing because they didn't accept any kind of online payment like Phonepe, Google pay, Amazon pay, Paytm and etc and also not accept money through like card payment.. Which increase actual sale of restaurants.. i suggest to resturant please accept online payment because everyone have not carry sufficient cash in the time of digital market.. And Resturant boys ware very good good behaviour and quickly serve food .. we are very happy they serve our food with in 15 min...
