Storyline Cafe — Restaurant in Odisha

Visited this place after hearing a lot about the ambiance and food. The ambiance was great and up to my expectations. Loved the way the entire setup was done. Coming to the food and service.

Service: It was bad, many people around me were complaining, and there is no water at all to wash my hands, even after multiple people's complaints they did not bother. For some, the food was also delayed. You have to ask for the tissue box, they served to few tables and for few noes. Nobody used to come to clean the tables, you have to go to them and request them to clean the table.

Food: Overall it was ok, few dishes were not so great like the chef special Prawns which we ordered was a disaster. We ordered Shrimp Pizza and hardly we had any shrimp on that pizza, we felt the pizza was a pure veg pizza that was loaded with all vegetables and cheese. Although the pizza was good but without shrimp.

The final experience when it came to paying the bill was that nobody came so I went to the counter to pay it. I hand over the right amount of cash and turned around for something, the lady mentioned that I gave less cash and argued for the same. But I was confident that I gave the right amount of cash. Having no choice and getting late, I settled the bill and left.

I was totally disappointed with the service; there was no Manager or responsible person to deal with all these issues. The management left the entire thing to some inexperienced people to deal with and they had no idea how to deal with it.

My suggestion is that with such a beautiful concept and ambiance this place can be a super hit among Generation Z, Request the management to look into this and have a dedicated person who can overlook the operations in person and solve people's queries on the spot rather than having two youngsters to keep quiet...

I had an amazing experience last night at this Cafe! The Mushroom 65 was absolutely the highlight—crispy, flavorful, and bursting with taste. Every bite was so delicious that it’s a must-try for anyone visiting. The Veg Paneer Pizza had a perfect balance of flavors, with a soft crust and generous toppings that melted in the mouth. The Paneer Tikka Burger was just as delightful, packed with spice and served with sauces that elevated the whole dish. And to finish it off, the White Sauce Pasta was creamy and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of seasoning. Highly recommend a visit if you’re a food lover!

Visited this cafe today.. Although it is not on the main road but I loved how this little cafe is nested in the interiors. The parking space is ok. We kinda had to climb a few stairs to get into the cafe. The interiors were quiet casual. The best thing is that they had a corner to people who love to enjoy their time with books.. Quiet a good collection for sure. The menu was cracking and not too over priced too.. We ordered ourself a PAPDI CHAT, CHEESY SWEET CORN BURGER, PANEER VEGGIE PIZZA. The service was promt..

The papdi chat was not messy and it had all that ingredients to make it tasty.. Right quantities I can say.. The cheesy sweet corn burger was really cheesy as it was dripping chesse with the first bite and the corn absolutely cooked to perfection but yeah it kinda needed a bit of a kick.. Although I'm not a big fan of veg pizzas but I kinda liked this one as it had the chilli, tomato heavenly combination and rest of the toppings sung well and made it very cohersive.

In short we had a very pleasant experience and next time I'm gonna make sure to catch up a book and spend more time over...
