This review is based on my experience of 8 years back (for my daughters Birthday Party) ..My last visit to this hotel was Before Corona (somewhere in Jan 2020)..Nothing much changed. At present there are 5 hotels of the Kerala origin (in my knowledge) in Kharghar and I rate this Hotel to be No.1 among them both in quality and ambiance.
I had invited almost 50-60 people and they were all happy to have the delicious food and the courteous behavior by the staff. Its having a large area compared to the other Hotels in Mumbai.
Since they have a connection to Kerala , they are more into Kerala recipes and all the Dishes are good with the Kerala masala and the Coconut milk. They have tried their best to keep the interior with all those Murals and Big Nettippattam and the Big Candle (Nilavilaku) in the entrance. I think they have another branch in Nerul.
They provide the buffet for lunch and dinner which as per me is costly ; but worth if you are a food loving person.
Should try the Meals in Banana leaf by which you can have a real feel of the Kerala spices and dishes. Both vegetarian and Non vegetarian foods are available and they are all good and you will enjoy !!
The location is also very near to the Kharghar station and also on the side of the Higway (beside Little World Mall). Parking may be a problem ; but you get space on the side...

Read moreI visited place couple of days ago with my family and it was to have a go at the typical Kerala Sadhya they serve in banana leaf. The ambience was pleasant and airy and surprisingly when I saw that no malayalee staff were present I asked the manager and he said they all fell ill and were on leave. Hmmm.
Resting my inquisitiveness, we ordered sadhya for all of us..Sadhaya incidentally in malayalam means feast .. the leaves were first laid on the table washed and ready for serving. The different items on the sadhaya menu was then served which Incuded rice , with sambar rasam , papadam, kootu curry or eriseri, aviaal, thoran, beetroot pachadi, buttermilk puliserry, all this ofcourse after the dal served over rice with dollops of ghee to begin with. A Sumptuous spread and one could ask for repeated serving- as in any sadhya. Oh yes I must mention the salted and sweet (sharkara) banana chips and the banana too that is served first with pickles.
With a table for four with ela i.e ..leaf laid out it did get a wee bit tight on space and I would have preferred a slightly larger table..my suggestion is if you are four people take a table for six to avoid a cramped up feel. The cost was Rs 350 per sadhya and the taxes extra. Parking is available in the...
