Tibet Momo IG2 — Restaurant in Puducherry

I’m writing this review out of genuine frustration after yet another disappointing experience at your restaurant located in Providence Mall, Pondicherry. While the food may be decent, the customer service — particularly from the man at the cashier counter (the Tibetan staff member) — is consistently unacceptable.

This employee is repeatedly rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in his job. He spends most of his time glued to his phone, showing no concern whatsoever for the customers in front of him. When we tried to communicate (already difficult due to a language barrier), he sighed audibly and looked visibly annoyed, as if serving customers was a burden to him. Not once did he smile or make an effort to be courteous. His body language screamed disrespect and indifference.

This isn’t an isolated incident — I’ve encountered this same behavior before, which suggests it’s not a bad day but a persistent problem. For a business that depends on customer satisfaction, having such an unprofessional and disengaged person as the first point of contact is a serious issue.

I strongly urge the management to take this seriously. Staff like this drive customers away. A proper warning or retraining is long overdue. The front desk represents your brand — and right now, it’s doing...

Nice Momos..... I really liked their steamed momos and fried momos. Maggi Noodles was also hot and tasty. They serve till midnight. Nice service.... The boys did well. Ambience could be more clean.

Instead of naming this branch as "Reddiarpalayam", use the real name of the place it's located. Yes other nearby popular restaurants and businesses too use (claim) their location as Reddiarpalayam..... But this is officially not Reddiarpalayam. This could be either Pavazhakaranchavadi or Boomianpet or...

While I hesitate to be overly critical, my experience at this food shop left much to be desired. The service was incredibly slow, with staff members displaying a noticeable lack of enthusiasm. The food itself was bland and poorly seasoned, lacking any distinct flavors that one would expect. Additionally, the cleanliness of the establishment left a lot to be desired, with tables and floors appearing dirty and neglected. Overall, I left feeling highly disappointed and unlikely to return...
