Yaa Mohaideen Biryani Pondicherry — Restaurant in Puducherry

I should give ZERO ratings to this place. But dont have option for that. hence giving ONE.

It is a nasty place to eat worst briyani. had high regards for this place b4 and went as refereed.

an indifferent staff with an indifferent attitude. managers who don't care about what is going on with the dine-in customers.

stinky toilets (male and female). finally coming to the biriyanis as ordered. got over-cooked chicken which u couldn't bite. Mutton biriyani had 70% mutton fat and only 30% meat. eggs weren't served. I was told it is still been boiled. The chicken 65 - got them like left overs of previous orders and soggy. finally the fish fingers- even the kids didn't eat. not sure which fish they use. had a bad smell from the fish. spent around 1750 Rs and thought I lost it to a mugged thief.

won't return to this restaurant in pondicherry. what the management don't understand is that, people who visit pondicherry and citizens of pondicherry r not one and the same. they kick out bad restaurant's quickly. Anjappar had it once already. I sincerely think this one is already on its way like Anjappar.

You will be gifted Cardio Vasular Disease if you r visiting this place often.

Be guaranteed to run at least double marathon if u would like to spend the calories of having a biryani here.

This is the branch of Pallavaram Yaa mohideen Briyani. We ordered mutton Briyani. Mutton kola and chicken lollipop. While I visit Pallavaram Yaa mohideen, they provide only Briyani and 65. But here they provide starters also. Here on arrival they provide bread halwa as like main branch. And taste of that is Good. While coming to mutton Briyani it was lagging in taste when compared to main branch. And the quantity also seems to be lesser one. And they provide 6 mutton kola per plate. Which costs you 240 bucks. They are little bit uncooked inside. In many places kola won't be good, this place also in that list. Lollipop is as usual and tastes good. Ambience is Good. As I am black lover, I felt so excited. The over all ambience is black. Food taste is 3/5 Ambience 4/5. Value for money 3/5...

One of the worst n overrated restaurant. Especially the Pondy branch of Yaa Mohaideen is below par. Ordered Al Faham Chicken Full, Chicken Tikka and Chicken 65 to my surprise everything looked and tasted the same. I would not say tasted, i would say it was tasting like a burnt chicken. These guys should better stop making these dishes and ruin people's time, money and food. Such a worst experience. I think they can better stick on doing biryani. Don't ever try to do dishes like these. Close to a 1000 bucks spent but all gone waste. The whole portion went to dustbin. These guys are looting. Never order any other dish other than biryani better stay away people. I am sure people who see this review please think 10 times before ordering...
