Biriyani by Kilo has won my heart in kilos and no exaggeration there when I say this... The food is impeccably packed in the best eco-friendly way possible and a brilliant take on that in terms of concept and keeping the hygienic standards in mind.
The ordered Chicken Biriyani on Hyderabadi style was a jugalbandi of succulently cooked chicken in its juice and moist texture with the long grain basmati rice intertwined in love with it bedded among aromatic spices and masalas to give you a feel of royalty in every bite and taste. Unlike commonly made Biriyanis which drain out the chicken of its taste in the overpowering masala... This biriyani is a foodgasmic delight and a absolute take on a good old royal Biriyani. The biriyani is served in a handi and is just out of the dum covered to be unravelled at your abode amidst your family. Lest it gets cold in the travel... They provide you the fire take in the form of a small Chunlha with candles to reheat!! Now that's what is called Royal touch and impeccable way to please your heart and soul.
The shenanigans of the biriyani does not end here when the CHICKEN KORMA served along with it takes the biriyani and the Ulta Tawa parathas ordered along to another level of foodgasms!! Chunky juicy pieces of chicken cooked in aromatic spices of kewra rosewater meetha ittar to give the robust flavours of a perfect korma and is an absolute delight to be had with the parathas and the salad served along... It makes you fall in love with the Utopian delights of food and it's pure love again. Kudos to the chef.... Shukran as in royal gharana would be the word.
The Salaan served with the biriyani has the bite and flair of the peanuts which makes it a perfect catalyst to enhance the taste of the biriyani.
Moshezz is smitten by the love of the Biriyani.... N mind you when I say in kilos and yet again ready to venture forth to try out some mutton and galoutis in her next order.
Good food needs to be cherished rejoiced and celebrated and this is just that. This place will leave you foodgasmed and pleasured up for more!!
Let's drink life to the lees over such goodness of food!! Let BBK rule with this same consistency and...

On new years eve we got food from @biryanibykilo. It was so good that I called for more for lunch today as my niece was coming over & she wanted to try it. Each dish is ordered separately but I served it to her like this
Clockwise :
That @biryanibykilo Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani Think of a very very flavourful chicken biryani with just the right amount of spices, not at all oily & with a very good quality of chicken
That Biryani Salan A very flavourful non-spicy curry that really goes very well with their biryanis
That Paneer 65 Deep fried paneer tossed in a spicy masala along with curry y leaves. Very tasty!
Those Veg Galauti Kababs I've tried both veg & Non-Veg galautis from them & I'm surprised to say I liked their veg Galauti more! Really smooth & flavourful melt-in-the-mouth kababs
That Ulta Tawa Paratha Almost the size of a Rumali roti this tawa paratha is made with maida & was a good accompaniment for the paneer
That Curry Leaf Raita I loved this! So different from the raita usually served with biryani. Really nice curry leaf flavoured yogurt
That @biryanibykilo Hyderabadi Vegetable Biryani Since they were both Hyderabadi biryani I thought they'd taste similar. Nope. Very different flavour & my niece who's a hard core non-vegetarian really liked it
That Phirni Possibly one of the best Phir is I've had in Pune. The last time my dad finished one by himself
Everything was so fresh & comes so we'll packed!! I love the fact that they send a little claypot along with tealite candles so if your biryani goes cold, you can reheat.
@biryanibykilo has become a big favourite in our...
Read moreFirst of all I would say their biryani is good in taste but then there many joints in the city who serves good biryani. They named themselves biryani by kilo but their quantity is pathetic I have ordered one kg biryani but the quantity was not even sufficient for 2-3 people. As it was a home party it was very insulting and humiliating. In the past also I have ordered biryani from many different places but never face such situation. Even with Behrouze one kg biryani 4 people can easily eat. Guess they are including matka weight as well while calculating. Their main business is to sell mud pot rather than serving biryani. And top of it the management didn't bother when I complaint to them, they have just stopped replying. Will never order from this place again and will never recommend anyone. Now even the guests came to my place know from where they should never order. Taste - 4 Value for money - 0.5 Service - 0.5
Added screen shot of chat where they didn't even bother to reply.
Edit - After writing an email to head office, the team from Gurgaon contacted me and understood the issue. They agreed to compensate the loss and agreed that they will look into the issue in...
