ANNA — Restaurant in Pune

I've had the pleasure of dining at Anna, a South Indian restaurant, on several occasions, and I must say that I've always had a positive experience with their food. The standout dish for me is the Anna special Mysore masala dosa, which is simply delicious. The butter milk is also amazing and a must-try if you visit.

What I appreciate most about Anna is the extensive menu. There are plenty of options to choose from, making it a great choice if you're looking for something new or different. The dishes are all quite elaborate, which is a definite plus.

On the downside, the service could be better. The staff tends to bring out all the dishes at once, rather than serving them one by one. While it's a minor issue, it can impact the overall dining experience.

Anna Idli as the name it is famous for its traditional authentic dishes like dosa, idli, sambhar, utappam and ofcourse peoples favorite tea, have tried Anna idli for the first time in Baner location in Pune and seriously all the food items from dosa to utappam we ordered were delicious, today once again with the same craving came to Anna Idli in Kharadi place, ordered the same tomato chilli onion uttapam first of all it took a lot of time, which made me feel the taste and i was imagining the same dish, it took time but this time it was not at all tasting as good as i like it before, the taste was missing, we also told to the concerned person about it, had to put salt on it(literally a lot of salt), he was quite good asked us to replace the ordered but finally we finished it. Please bring back the same authenticity guys, i really appreciate how good you are at it, will be visiting again.. 5 stars for ambience, 5 star for courtesy 3 star for food...

Fantastic quality and taste. The items are prepared fresh and in an authentic manner. I lived in Bangalore for 8 years and simply couldn't eat South Indian food when I came back to Pune, until... I found Anna Idli (rather only Anna now). Their food is lipsmacking, authentic and of great quality. I personally enjoyed the usuals such as Idli, Uddin Vada, Ghee Masala Dosa, Set Dosa, etc. and some specialities like Ragi dosa, Rawa Idli, etc. Coffee is also great. Service is fast and polite. The ambiance is really cool and relaxed. It has shades of traditional decor as well. Located a ball's throw away from the popular Reliance Mart off kharadi bypass. Only two cons are - prices are generally moderate but steep for South Indian food. Secondly, they don't serve water unless asked and then you're served with a water bottle.
