Khatri Bandhu Pot Ice-Cream and Mastani — Restaurant in Pune

No doubt ice cream is good since it's a chain. But the services from the franchisee owner was pathetic. I ordered strawberry mastani and to my surprise this fellow gave me in a used glass. I was so shocked to see this and I asked why he gave in the glass he said by mistake as i first put the mava mastani which was totally false.

I checked the used glass had solid crystals of the mastani which it has previously. I took the photo also. It's run by father son duo.

Father always gives very small scoop and less milk shake. Always towards saving.

Will never visit when father is in the shop and will not recommend others too when...

The ice cream quality of Khatri Bandhu, the kharadi one, is really outstanding. We tried their Gulkand, Chocolate, Pista and they are really good. Since it is a pot ice cream you will immediately know the difference if you understand what I mean. The great ones are the Guava and Paan, simply outstanding. Even the mango mastani is totally different and they literally use Alphonso in that. In addition to that we purchased the Alphonso mangoes as well from them. This shop is known for the ice cream. We ordered mastani a few months ago on from Zomato and it was really pathetic. The price they charge and the quality and quantity they give is really poor. It felt like the ingredients of Mastani were really old / expired. I would not recommend them for mastani and I have personally not tried the ice cream hut heard thay it is good. But after getting such bad mastani I would not dare to try the ice creams. Not recommended...
