Burger King — Restaurant in Pune

This is about a particular Burger King Store in weatend aundh. It's the one in Town here. It was the only fast food place I would go to until recently. There is another BK 5 or 6 miles down the street that I will go to if I ever feel the urge. I doubt I will though for a long while. We stopped in for what we thought would be a quick breakfast. Ended up making two orders due to forgetting two croissants. The First Order of 10 aloo tikkis. The staff that was at the counter seemed beat but ok. The people in the back were staggering around like Zombies. I noticed. When I came back to pick up the food no one was there. They just hollered order ready and left. Back at the Table there was one thing after another that was just way wrong, I mean, it was the right stuff but just all wet and smashed and doughy. Seriously noticeably bad, I took the trays back up to the counter and asked what could be done about this after waiting a few minutes for someone to come up front. I was asked if there was a problem and I was telling them one at a time what was wrong and the senior person was just saying, sometimes talking over me before I finished my sentences.

Long story shorter, nothing got done, I wrote on the survey and told them all about what happened, the larger manager in Utah wrote and told me that I left out my phone number (Optional on the survey) and then has now refused to communicate after I wrote them back and said I didn't put my phone number because I do not have a cell and I don't want to talk on my home phone and that email was fine. Its not fun any more at Burger king cinepolis aundh. They have stared doing lot of cost cuttings in their standard servings... You get feeling of eating "only bread" in most of their recipes now.(even in their most costly / signature burgers too) They dont put / add adequate quantity of sauces, lettuce. You get unevenly coocked Patties inside.(roasted till burned to coal at one end and half cooked on other end/side). Definitely definitely you dont get what you are paying for and what they are advertising for. Delivery time is also mismanaged with lot of manipulations. Yaa... I also have observed it at least 7 to 10 times with diffrent buyers at counters that Their sales team will try to push you to something or other than what they want to buy in such a fashion that they will first confuse you with combo offers under the name of upgrades and they will push you hard to hurryup as there is a rush or que. And one will ends up with buying costly items than desired. Recently I have seen many unhappy faces there once they get their food Tray delivered in their hands. Food is not enjoyable any more here. Its my "final good buy" to aundh outlet. There are many many other options available here on 3rd...

King of Burgers! 🍔

One of the biggest burger giants Burger King (Home of Whopper) has really made a mark on Indians. I went in Western mall in the aundh location and went to Burger King to try their Big whopper.

The place has great seating capacity, beautifully lit by red lanterns. The staff was very energetic and helpful. We ordered Veg Whopper and Veg Chilli Cheese burger. We took away the order. It took 4-5 minute waiting time to get the order ready. Decently packaged.

Veg Whopper: First of all it was Big and had a lot of veggies, jalapeno, lettuce, dressed with mayonnaise and sauces. It costs 140 rupees and will really make you full and satisfied. There is also another option which is Veg Masala Whopper (175 rupees) which is a spicy one. About fries 🍟 , they are freshly served and Nicely taste than MacDonald's.
