'Community Cafe' is a pretty cafe with an appealing ambaince and some good food. It is situated in Kothrud near MIT college.
Food : It's an all day cafe which serves all day breakfast. Their egg preperatins are quite popular. So, we tried,
1.WAT a MINT [Rs.100] : It is a mixture of watermelon juice and mint. We didn't like this at all as it was too diluted and there was not a flavour of either watermelon nor mint.
2.PROTEIN [Rs.160] : It was good. With a dominant taste of bananas and apple, there were flex and dates in it. This smoothie is a nice option for something healthy.
3.MEXICAN OMELETTE [Rs.130] : Again, we didn't like it much. The omellete had red, green and yellow bell-pepers in it. The omellete was placed on a toast and was topped with some baked-beans.
4.PANEER PERIPERI S/W [Rs.130] : This was too good. The paneer was very fresh and was minced very finely. The paneer was flavoured with periperi which I felt was very less and because of that mint chutney was over-powering. Along with paneer, there were onions, capsicum and cheese in it. It is a good option for healthy snacks as they used brown bread to make the S/W.
5.PANEER TIKKA PIZZA [Rs.230] : This pizza was also good in taste but I felt like it is a bit overpriced. This 8" inch thin crust pizza had a lot of cheese on it which made it really tasty. The toppings of this pizza are paneer tikka, onions and bell pepers. The pizza sauce which they used was undoubdtely good.
6.MASALA FRIES [Rs.80] : This is one of the the top selling item here and let me tell you, it was seriously good. The fries were not at all oily. They were nice and crispy with their secret masala sprinkeled on fries.
7.FRENCH TOAST ROLL UPS [Rs.100] : Anything with nuttela tastes good and so was this french toast. Pieces of banana and nuttela were stuffed in the bread, it was then rolled and dipped in egg batter and then pan-fried.
Ambiance : The cafe has a outdoor seating out of which half is covered and the rest is fully open.It is great place to be there in the evening as they have pretty lightings. They have also live screening of sports on a big screen. So, all of it makes it a good place foe catching up with friends, small dates, etc.
Service : Service was quite good. Also, no complaints...

Read moreA small corner cafe near MIT College Kothrud . This place is exactly opposite to Zaika Kathi Rolls . The cafe comes with a cozy environment and chilling soft music around with outdoor seating area. The ambience of this place looks very nice ... the hygiene is maintained properly and the covid 19 precautions are being followed and taken care care of. So that the people around can walk freely at their cafe without any fear. On a casual day after office …. Me and few of my friends thought about chilling for a bit around in Kothrud and wanted to meetup. So this was the place which popped up in my mind and the search list. I had seen this place several times but had not been here before. This place is a small joint which has a variety of dishes which are served here. They do serve chats as well. I had ordered Veg Masala Maggie and some masala fresh fries . The fresh fries were dam crispy and the Maggie was also nice but it was a bit soupy. They have dim rope lights in the outside seating area. The place offers you seating in a very different manner from those of other cafes …. Here you will find that they have placed the chairs and tables over the BEACH SAND… one can actually just remove their foot wares and chill for a while by putting their feet in this cold sand. It will relax you for sure from your daily hectic and also. The prices are fine …. Not too high for a cafe … and easily affordable.
Suggestion- The taste of the food dishes can be improved a bit . And before confirming the order , please describe your dishes nicely with proper explanation of the ingredients which will be put onto the plate.
