A Royal Taste of Delhi in Pune – Grand Dilli Darbar, Camp
My visit to Grand Dilli Darbar in Camp turned out to be a flavorful journey into North Indian and Mughlai cuisine with a touch of royal ambiance. From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant interiors with Rajasthani-style arches, rich blue and white decor, and elegant lighting created a luxurious and authentic atmosphere.
The staff welcomed us warmly and were dressed in formal attire, which added to the fine-dining feel. The service was attentive and professional throughout the evening. I started my meal with a refreshing Strawberry Shake, which was thick, creamy, and beautifully presented—perfect to set the mood.
For the main course, we ordered Chicken Angara, Paneer Tikka Masala, Butter Naan, and a side of Veg Fried Rice. The portions were generous and the food was rich in flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the dishes had that traditional Delhi-style kick. The chicken was juicy, the paneer soft, and the gravies were rich and satisfying.
The vibe at Grand Dilli Darbar is ideal for both family dinners and special outings. Clean tables, ambient music, and the royal blue-themed walls give it a majestic charm.

Read moreWe recently visited Dilli Darbar in Pune for a family lunch, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for a relaxed family meal.
We started with Masala Papad, Murg Malayi Tandoori, and Chicken Kebab. The masala papad was crisp and well-spiced, setting the tone for the meal. The Murg Malayi Tandoori was creamy, tender, and full of flavor, while the chicken kebabs were juicy and perfectly grilled—each bite was delicious.
For the main course, we ordered the rich and aromatic Murg Musallam, served with fresh, soft rotis, and a flavorful Chicken Dum Biryani. The biryani was a highlight—fragrant, well-cooked rice with succulent chicken pieces and just the right amount of spice.
To accompany our meal, we had Thums Up and Sprite, which paired well with the rich flavors of the food.
The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The service was prompt, and the overall cleanliness of the place added to the positive experience.

Read moreThe overall experience was pathetic due to the manager- Akram. We went for a special occasion (mother's birthday) and we requested for a place with Sofa but he denied stating it is only for 8 person group. We requested hi multiple times because my 1 year old daughter do not seat on chair comfortably but seat comfortably on Sofa, but that guy denied the request. Pathetic customer experience, however the captain who took our ordered was very good and professional. Food was okay, we ordered chicken starter platter which includes chicken tikka kebab, chicken reshmi kebab, chicken pahadi kebab and chicken hariyali kebab but all of them tasted same and was not even worth. We ordered Chinese starter platter which included chicken lollypop, chicken crispy and chicken chilli. Chicken crispy was not crispy at all, lollypop was more of maida, chicken chilli was tasteless. I have spent 2600₹ for 4 people but it was not even worth. I will not recommend this place to anyone, you will get better options...
