The Bombay Store - M.G. Road, Pune — Local services in Pune

My husband and I were shopping at Bombay Store at Main St, Pune on 29 Nov. I usually have a good experience shopping here whenever I visit Pune from the USA. My American husband always finds nice souvenirs to take back. This time though there was this creepy Bombay Store employee in spectacles who kept giving us weird looks the entire time. When I was at the checkout counter, he collided really heavily into me from the back and side. So hard it hurt. It did not feel accidental, he could have said excuse me, I would have given him space to pass, he would have apologized later, but he just stood there staring at me after. I asked why he collided, the woman at the counter said there was someone behind me in the line and there was no space!!! So someone would willingly, hurtfully collide into a female customer, rather than asking them for space to walk across because there is no space???? This was intentional. And I am horrified that this was done in a Bombay Store!!! Such hate you show to your paying customers. AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO FEEL SAFE SHOPPING HERE ANYMORE?????? I always used to shop gift items from Bombay Store but my experience at the Mg road outlet was pathetic!! Went to exchange a fully packed item I had bought and I had my text message and not my bill and the salesman had full audacity to talk in a very careless and rude way saying I haven’t purchased it from there only. Firstly the billing person then entered someone’s else no and name just to get the billing done in a rush and then he couldn’t find it and blamed it on me. Being a loyal customer of Bombay store my experience was so bad I can’t even express it and then didn’t even care to apologise! Forget that even after this I bought something and they didn’t even give me a bill and billed a foreigner who came after me. I had to literally ask for bill for 4 times then in a very careless way the billing guy gave me as if I’m taking the items for free!!! Sick attitude of the staff and such a bad customer experience that I didn’t feel like buying anything else and spoiled my entire mood for Diwali shopping!! Want to give - ratings but that’s not the option here !!! Teach and train your staff first before...

Beware! You might be falling into a scam!! So I visited the store today to purchase some Diwali gifting items and were billed with 450 rs × 4 pieces. We asked the billing person to gift wrap the pieces and we saw that the person had kept the pieces near the billing counter. After 2 mins we asked him to give us the packed pieces and the person said that they are kept near the wrapping counter. So we went near the wrapping counter and my mom asked them if they had removed the price tag or not. Right in front of us we saw that he was giving us different pre-packed pieces which were blue in color (originally we had purchased 4 red pieces of the same) and then we checked the price tag and it said 395 rs for 1 piece...so now u know what he was trying to do!! Trying to pocket 55 rs a piece and said we cannot change the bill. I had seen the return policy mentioned right behind the billing counter which mentioned that they can return as well as give a credit note for it..so after spending more than 30 mins on this we left the place dissatisfied....Worst...
