Hudson's chopsticks — Restaurant in Pune

Not sure whether some kind of scam is attempted on me.

I ordered food from Hudson Chopsticks at night around 11:30 pm using Zomato.

After few minutes I got a call from a person pretending zomato's delivery partner asking my mobile number as his mobile battery was very low and once the battery is drained he would have not been able to contact me. I gave him my contact number.

Next... after few minutes I again got a call from another mobile number pretending customer care from Zomato and stated that my order is snatched by some other delivery person and hence Zomato is cancelling the order and refund will be initiated. This time it was extremely fishy as I was already on chat with Zomato customer care executive at a same time as order was delayed.

The actual customer care person (on chat) update me that Hudson Chopsticks cancelled my order from their side and Zomato will investigate this, they will refund my money plus some compensation for the inconvenience.

12:30 am : I GOT ONE MORE CALL from another mobile number, this time it was from Hudson's Chopsticks and the person on call was saying that Zomato has cancelled the order but order is ready at their end and as Hudson's Chopsticks staff is leaving for home so they can deliver it to my place from their end if I want the food. This time I realised that something is not right and I had also got the refund and apology message from Zomato already.

I denied any transaction outside Zomato looking at overall scenario and disconnected the call stating the same.

I believe it was some person from Hudson's who did the cancellation of my order on zomato as his intention was to process the order directly by taking advantage of late night.

Who knows if it could be a scam and if I would have agreed to get that order offline after all this, they might have asked me for the payment in advance and then order would have not been delivered OR wrong/incomplete order would have been delivered.

Beware while ordering...

Asian & Chinese Food is everyone's favourite offcourse to full you with the delicious & droolworth food , Hudson Chopsticks is now at Baner serving Super Delicious Asian & Chinese food !!

All safety Precautions while delivering took well & also the packaging was done Proper so nothing would spill out !! The food was delivered warm so that's we know that it was fresh & delivered ASAP so we can eat it Warm .

Veg Manchurian Dry ( ₹289/- ) : Firstly i ordered Manchurian as my favourite starter/appetizers with Mix Vegetables Dumplings/Balls tosed in veggies ! Actually i love them bit in semi thick gravy & yes they did take care of that while delivering which was appreciated . Coming to taste it was soo damn delicious , soft fresh balls with actually used lot's of veggies for gravy even , made totally perfect .

Chilli Paneer + Hakka Noodles + Spring roll with Hudson In-house made Lemonade ( ₹309/- ) : The wholesome meal with all your favourites in one !! Gravy Chilli Paneer , Delicious Hakka Noodles , Crispy Veg Spring Rolls accompanied with Chutney . The spread was too yumm & full-filling . New Place Alert!! Gather all Chinese lovers.

Hudson Chopstics is now in Pune. They've opened their delivery/takeaway kitchen in Baner. We visited this place recently. Here's how it went.

First notable thing is that the kitchen is clean. They have separate sections for veg and non veg food. They also use separate utensils for the same.

We ordered

Chilli Paneer Rice Bowl : Fried rice with Chilli Paneer and gravy. It was very flavourful. The rice and chilli paner both. One concern, they can just cut the paneer pieces a little small so it's easier to eat it ,as the chilli paneer is on top of the rice in the bowl.

The Chinese combo : tried the Hakka Noodles + Manchurian + Momos combo. Manchurian was very good. So we're the Hakka Noodles. Delicious. They have an option for spring rolls as well instead of momos. But glad that we opted for the momos because they were yum. Special mention to the salad served with it.

Peached Iced tea : This they don't make it there. They source it from somewhere else. But nonetheless , perfect beverage to go along with the food. Option for lemonade also.

All in all , a delightful experience. The bowl does seem to be on the expensive side a bit. Other than that...
