A tidy place with 8/10 tables and very colourful interiors with pictures of sea food they serve. It was very clean. Promptly the server put on the fan as we sat and checked the menu card. We quickly ordered for starters as we were very hungry. And #Solkadhi. The server immediately brought tall glasses of Solkadhi - It was very refreshing. With temperature rise in Pune lately (October heat) this was a blessing. Solkadi was tangy and moderate spicy. Made in-house so quality was superb. #authentic
#Prawn_Koliwada -Big sized prawns (10/12pieces) came with a Konkani hirvi chutney( fresh coconut). It was so thick and delicious. Prawn was soft and coated with red masala. We were popping in prawns and chattering away. #Pomfret_Fry - The pomfret stuffed with red Malvani Masala. Pomfret is fresh and well cooked. Crispy skin, nicely marinated and yummy in taste. I really loved this.
I myself am from Sindhudurg, I learned after talking to owner that he belongs to same area and Little Konkan serves food items how it is made in Sindhudurg. He personally supervise in kitchen.
We ordered for Surmai thali and Chicken Thali. I also ordered for a portion of Wadas (Kombdi vadas). Normally they serve rice bhakri or chapati, but he obliged which was nice of him. #Surmai_thali has bangda curry with piece, prawn curry with small prawns, oli sukkat chutney, konkani hirvi chutney, solkadi, rice, bhakri/chapati along with a huge surmai fry. Bangda curry has trifal and prawn curry a bit pungent. Sukkat was good. Actually Everything was lip smacking delicious. #Chicken_Thali- has chicken curry, chicken malvani masala, chicken soup, solkadi, Konkani hirve chutney. The soup was to die for. So warm and full of taste. The chicken masala fry had plenty of tender chicken cooked in moderate spicy and ekdum jakaas! The wadas were crispy and firm. Crush the wada in the masala and attack. One of the best chicken thali I have had lately! Everything is reasonable prices, good portion size and overall a happy experience. We were too stuffed to try dessert. Have to visit...

Drinks ordered was traditional Sol Kadhi it was yumm and refreshing.
For Starters we had:- 1- Bangda Fry 2- Bombil Fry 3- Prawns Koliwada 4- Mandeli Fry
Bangda fry, Bombil fry and Prawns Koliwada something I like and am a big fan off. Everything was great in the mentioned starters though a bit of more masala can be used to make it more tasty. Mandeli fry something I tried for the first time in my life. Crispy since again it was deep fried and tasty it was.
For Main Course we had:-
1- Prawns Thaali 2- Bangda Thaali 3- Bombil Thaali 4- Surmai Thaali 5- Chicken Malvani Thaali 6- Veg Thaali 7- Crab Curry 8- Chicken Biryani
The first three Thaali's main item was the same as the starters. The three thali's had prawns koliwada, bangda fry and bombil fry but what got added in the thaali was prawns curry to supplement with rice, more solkadhi, chutney, fish curry, tandlachi bhakri and sukhat.
In Surmai thaali apart from the Rawa Fried Surmai which I must say was nicely made other supplements was the same Surmai thaali too.
Every group has to have a odd one out and we too had one in the form of a friend who doesn't like sea food. For him Chicken Malvani Thaali was ordered. Preparation of the chicken done in Malvan style and really yum too. Things supplementing it was fish curry, Solkadhi, chutney, roti and rice.
Crab curry not a big fan of crab mainly coz of less meat in the same, but still had the claw portion which has the max meat. Was made nicely was juicy and gravy was thick and finger licking.
After having all this chicken biryani was ordered didn't eat it as wal super full but the aroma of the biryani was great.
And how can one forget sweet dish we order aam ras even though it's not the season of Mangoes which made it super great to have it. Just one feedback if the proportion for the same can be increased even if the price needs to increased for the same that...
