Great find…
A couple of years ago, I had rolls ordered by one of my friends and did not fancy it much (this was in Malad – Mumbai).
But yesterday, after much recommendation by another friend, visited the place with Family.
The place is not too big, seating of 40-50max. Well placed seating .. not too comfortable but good for an evening dine. Not in Summer of course as its not AC, in fact its outdoor seating.
The service is a little slow and smarter captains would do… mostly to suggest the correct dishes and understand the need of the guest. Guess their model(for Aundh Branch) is mostly home delivery.
FOOD : really enjoyed most of it..
Chicken Shawarma : OK… too much mix with white sauce and veggies… less chicken. Chicken Chops : good flavour, perfect for Kids… yummy Butter Chicken : one of the best I have had… sweet, yet well spiced. Great after taste. Lhara Gosht : Amazing flavour, the kheema with chunks of brilliantly cooked mutton pieces. Awesome consistency, perfect with Roti, Naan, Kulcha and Reshmi paratha.. The breads are perfect too… if you like butter naans.. these guys drench the naan in butter… you might want to ask the captain to not be so generous.
All of this at a very affordable price range.
All in all – a good experience… will definitely return.
Review Update after second visit : Today ordered Makhrana Kababs and Murg Lahori... Loved the Makhrana Kababs... However .. Murg Lahori was horrible.. Yes, I know that in the description it did say that it has pepper flavour... But this was way more over done... There was at least 1-2 whole peppers in every bite... This one was a complete miss......
Read moreMonday done right with Fabulous food delivered from Marakesh. A royal Muglai lunch loaded with goodness of non- vegetarian delicacies packed neatly with a chutney, Hari Mirchi and sliced onions The best thing about thier food is the quantity and quality. Marakesh excels in both these criterias
Murg Nizami - named after the royal Nizams of Hyderabad, this is an amazing chicken appetizer made of boneless chicken in mouthwatering yogurt marination and chared in tandoor. Loved it at the first sight and the aroma was compelling enough to indulge into it. #HighlyRecommended
Reshmi Chicken Seekh - Again a muglai starter thats stacked wit cheese and cream. Spiced flavorful chicken mince shaped onto skewers and grilled to perfection. Its marinated in thick yogurt and spices.Super moist and extremely delicious. The cream generously laced over it is quite a delight to the eyes. #MustHave
Ghost Nihari - A thick gravy which includes flour with slow cooked mutton shanks in spl nihari spies. Loved the smooth consistency and texture of the gravy. A rich ghee essence and flavor was quite noticeable in this dish. It had around 2-3 huge lamb shanks which were tender and succulent with meat falling off the bone while creating a luxurious depth of flavor in this delicious gravy. #MustTry
Enjoyed my meal with both my kids, both of them equally fond of this kinda heavy nonveg stuff . This meal is enough to induce one to sleep immediately. This place is indeed heaven for #Lebenese #Muglai and...
Read moreAlthough one can tell this place is good by looking at the flow of crowd here. Also you can count on their flavor and taste for Arabic and mughlai food on the menu. I particularly am fond of shawarmas and rolls so tried their butter chicken roll. They serve it in a perfect and moist rumali roti. Butter chicken filling as mentioned by the chef was slightly tangy and sweet and richly cooked in the other marinates. Loved the roll. People on other tables were ordering gravies and biryanis which looked delightful. Only my next visit will tell how good they are in taste as well. You will find a couple of their outlets around the city. Would certainly recommend for...
