Fabindia Experience Center, Aundh — Local services in Pune

Well the review is not about fabindia products. It is about the rude, unprofessional staff at the Aundh outlet of fabindia.

I like fabindia products n wear them for many years now. But my liking towards the brand takes a massive hit when I have to deal with the staff of this outlet. Sadly yesterday is the last time I visited this outlet. Never again.

1. Store closes at 8:30 pm. I was at the women's section at 8:15. A lady staff kept looking at her watch and tried force-selling me a size S pant which was surely many sizes smaller than what I needed. Not just her, a handful of other staff were constantly checking their watch every 30 seconds - a gesture I found extremely rude.

2. I opted for UPI payment but the vodafone internet signal was Edge. So the transaction was slower than expected. The cashier mocked at my situation n announced loud n clear that my phone is the problem n this does not happen with him or other customers! Also their UPI payment request expires every 60 seconds - adding to my embarassments at the cash counter.

This bad behaviour has been continuing over several visits forcing me to share this...

I'll put the summary of my review on first line - Fabindia can also be called as fabulous India.

This place is amazing. While choice is subjective, after visiting pretty much every big clothing shop for men in Pune, I found that Fabindia has the best selection of ethnic wear at good prices. The prices may seem on the higher end but I feel it's worth it. Of course you have varied range of products with prices suiting everyone. In general though, if you are looking for clothes for a big occasion, this is a great shop to go to.

For covid-19, they have cleansing going on all the time and have fogger installed on every floor. Sanitizers are available everywhere too. You can shop without fear.

The attendants are of great help and had a good attention to detail while giving you suggestions. I haven't seen more helpful attendants.

All in all, I have no hesitation to rate this place as a 5 star establishment. My only gripe? Parking can be tight in Aundh. The roads are always full and that can be an issue. The place is very conveniently located in a prominent area and eliminates need to go to even deeper and crowded areas...

I have been a loyal customer of this store since many years. However, since the last few times I have noticed that the quality of the clothes/materials have deteriorated. The dresses get unusable only after a few washes. Unfortunately, I faced a horrible experience in terms of their customer service. On my latest visit, we were looking out for lamps. When we could not find the ones that we were looking for, we asked the sales people to show us other types. However, all of them were least interested in selling us anything. I was amused with the disinterest that they showed us. I wished that they had the decency to respect and value their loyal customers. During the same visit, we also had a payment issue for which we had to wait for an hour. Surprisingly, we were not even offered a seat till the issue was resolved. Customer satisfaction was definitely not on their cards. I was disappointed with the customer service, and the attitude of the sales people there. Needless to say that I am not shopping...
