Shraavan describes itself as "for veg lovers only" and it's quite apt since it's one of the best places in Pune for veg food .I have been going to this place for more than 20 years now n am amazed at their taste n quality.Though it's a bit crammed up in terms of space n one needs to wait for around 20 minutes to get to sit, it's worth the wait. Some of the dishes including my favourites are Veg. Augratin, veg bhoona, Methi malai mutter, Baby corn fingers etc. Even the supposedly humble Baingan bharta tastes awesome there, so do the minestrone n the palak soups, not to mention their Biryani.Their rates are also reasonable for the quantity n quality. Service is also good, silent n efficient. It has a fan following of it's own like the Vaishali, Marzorin, Good luck, BagBahn n Ramakrishna .I would recommend it to anyone looking for good Punjabi or Continental or Chinese food .Bon appetit !!A meal for 4 would cost around a...
Read moreI recently visited Shravan Restaurant on FC Road, Shivaji Nagar, Pune, and overall, it was a good experience. The place has a very neat and well-maintained ambiance, though I found it a little bit cozy as the seating area is compact and tends to get crowded during peak hours. The menu offers a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, from North Indian gravies to Chinese starters, and the taste is really satisfying. The paneer dishes and dal preparations stood out for their freshness and flavors. Service was polite and attentive, which made the dining experience smoother even though the space felt tight. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food and portion size, making it a good option for families and small groups. If you’re looking for pure veg food with consistent taste in the heart of the city, Shravan is definitely worth a visit, just be prepared for a slightly cozy environment...

It's a great experience, tables are covered with clothes and replaced with new one once done with outgoing customer, usual practice in many fine dining restaurant in City, rarely finds in subUrbans.
Served in warm ceramic plates for hygiene.
