While looking for restaurants in the Balewadi high street area, we came across Swig/Kinki, an outdoor/indoor restaurant serving both Asian (Kinki) and Italian/continental (Swig) dishes. Being bored of having the same pasta, pizza and garlic bread all the time, we decided to try some asian fare this time. For appetizers we had the Prawn Tempura sushi (4pcs), the sushi was served with some pickled ginger and wasabi on the side and overall tasted delicious. The prawn had an amazing crunch and the rice had a good texture too. Cannot comment on the authenticity of the wasabi but it accompanied the sushi well. (Try the wasabi at your own risk though cause it's not for everyone) Next were the Swig dirty fries, highly highly recommended, delicious cheesy fries with mushroom and bell peppers sauted in barbecue sauce, made for an amazing appetizer. Moving on we had Harissa Paneer Baos (4 pcs) and Veg Chilli Oil Dim Sums (also 4pcs). Both again highly recommended appetizers! The Baos had a soft and fluffy texture with a big flavourful paneer piece and lettuce inside and the dim sums had a spicy & tangy veggie filling. The dim sums were accompanied by 3 different condiments which complemented them very well! Onto the mains, we ordered the Donburi Bowl and Curry Ramen bowl (both Veg). The Curry Ramen bowl had Ramen noodles, mushrooms and tofu all in a pool of curry. The flavour was quite different and earthy. It was like comfort in a bowl. The Donburi Bowl had teriyaki gravy with veggies served over rice all topped with sesame seeds. Those who like teriyaki flavour/want to try something new you can definitely go for this dish.

Overall, the service was good and the food, even better. I had a great experience at Swig/Kinki bar and restaurant and I would definitely recommend...

We recently celebrated a friend's birthday at Swig Bar and Eatery on BHS, and it was an outstanding experience. The place radiates a very vibrant and lively vibe, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. For starters, we tried their Jalepeno Cheese poppers and Nachos, and both dishes were absolutely delightful and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Jalepeno Cheese poppers; they are a must-try!

The best part was the fantastic discount on beers. From Monday to Friday between 1 pm and 7 pm, all beers are buy one get one free, which was a great deal. We enjoyed classic Budweiser and Carlsberg, and they perfectly complemented the celebration.

We also tried their Peri peri Potato Wedges and Greek Style chicken pizza, and they were super tasty as well. The pizza was thin crust and the toppings were flavourful. All the food items are resonable and value for money, ensuring a satisfying and pocket-friendly dining experience.

The ambiance of the place is amazing, with a pleasing aesthetic that adds to the overall experience. The staff is friendly and considerate. The service was auper quick. One of the highlights was the hassle-free parking availability, which is indeed a plus point.
