Apache High Street — Restaurant in Pune

Visited Apache High Street with a couple of friends from college, when had gone to Pune to attend my college convocation last weekend . Would like to comment that I have very fond memories with the Apache on FC Road, hence was anxiously looking forward to visiting the Balewadi Apache since morning, when we all planned to catch up.

The two Apaches are very different from one another, but doesn't mean that one is lesser than the other. I felt that this Apache, in particular appeals to a little younger audience as was evident from the crowd that had visited the place. Also, Apache High Street has a very Sport Bar feel, thanks to the big sports screen and also the ambiance, look and feel of the place in general. Also, a glaring highlight of the place is the outside sitting which can accommodate a lot of visitors in one go, Thanks to Pune weather that the sitting is sought after and appreciated by the guests.

The place offers a plethora of options in liquor ranging from home grown brands to the imported ones. We ordered draught beer to start with which was served chilled and was really nice. We also liked their cocktail collection consisting of Long Island Iced Tea, Long Beach Iced Tea and Alaska Iced Tea. According to a friend, Bloody Mary was also decent. In food starters, we tried Masala Fries, Mumfali 'Tujhe Salaam' (What a creative name I must say :P), Heavenly Mushroom, Pizza Minions, Nachos and Cheesy Jalapeno Poppers. Would say that everything was decent, both in terms of quantity and quality.

Well, where do I start from.. Let's say this is a good place to hang out with your friends, but Baner definitely has better places to hang out than this one. Cheap booze and a good location, and the pros end here. The food is average, nothing really stands out. To give an example, I ordered Masala fries 🍟 and to my surprise, it was fries with chopped onions on it. How on earth are we supposed to eat fries with chopped onions? With a spoon?. About ambiance, the inside ambiance is good, but the music is too loud to even hold a conversation. Outside sitting area is ok ok, at least you can induce a conversation here, but again the space is very little to free up yourself. Let's talk about the alternatives we have for this place. If you are looking for a sports bar, then you have "Replay sports bar" near by. If you are looking for cheap booze then you have "Hoppipolla" not so far away. If you want good music and nice ambiance then you have "Funky Kona" in front of Green Park. What I am trying to say is, there is nothing special about this place. Someone will definitely say that they have "Go to Hell", Guy's, it's a one-time affair. It fell well short of my expectations considering the choices we have in Baner. It is not a must visit place, merely another place in Baner that don't have anything special except its location.

About the food and drinks I’ve a few recommendations that you might like and do try 😋😋

They had kingfisher heinkein corona budweiser etc

➡️pizzas They have a good vareity of pizzaa but I’d say try any if the non veg pizza available! So far all of them were good and tasty😋😍 ➡️drumstivks These are the ones that i loved the most , it was perfectly crispy and soft inside very well cooked ➡️white sauce pasta 😋😋 This was creamy saucy and cheesy as well loved it😍😍 ➡️nachos The heavily cheese loaded nachos were outstanding 🤩✨ ➡️prawns tempura This dish is imply perfect 🤩
