Placed my order. They refused to take it in as they didn't have change. Asking for few hundred change in late afternoon time shouldn't be customer's fault. After all, it wasn't ₹1k change I asked them. They didn't show any concern to somehow make it work. Counter crew at other eateries take some effort to arrange something and not let the customer go back empty handed because their lack of loose change. Here, they kept me waiting and when I enquired again after few minutes hoping they're figuring it out, they again simply said they don't have change. As I was leaving, they didn't even try to pacify the situation. Representing India on 'guest is akin to god' theme and then this today, two completely extreme experiences for me. When people/shops start devaluing customer satisfaction once business takes off, that's when ego and pride set in. Using public transport for commute, I changed 3 buses from college to reach their place before another meeting, being recommended to try their waffles. I am not going again to this shop unless the current counter crew (male, female) is replaced by more sophisticated, cooperative and well mannered staff. I long had the wish to visit this shop. Initially, the staff informed me that the order might take some time, which I completely understood due to the high volume of online orders.

However, my frustration grew when, after about 5 minutes, I inquired about the estimated wait time, and the staff responded curtly, stating it would take approximately 30 minutes. To my surprise, I realized they hadn't even taken my order or acknowledged my presence. In frustration, I promptly left the shop.

I recognize that the staff may have been overwhelmed, but in such cases, it would have been more appropriate to temporarily close the shop and focus solely on fulfilling online orders.
