Present............" Today, after a year, I visited Zeeshan for lunch, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Both the food and service have improved significantly in all aspects.
"If youâre looking for Dum Biryani, this is the placeâyou can go for it without a second thought." It was absolutely delicious! After a long time, I finally felt that I had a truly satisfying biryani in Pashan, Pune.
The "service staff" have shown a noticeable improvement in their behavior and customer interactions. "
Last year..................
Instead of having biryani at Zeeshan in Someswarwadi, you might be better off with porridge rice. Think carefully before making your decision. Yes, I may spent very less (as my stomach satisfaction)
Yesterday was a lovely day, perfect for dining out in Someswarwadi. My friends and I decided to take our two-wheelers out in search of a good restaurant. After some searching, we ended up at Zeeshan, driven inside by the sudden rain. The ambiance and seating arrangement were impressive, and we decided to have our meal there.
We were all eagerly scanning the menu for something delicious. Being a fan of spicy food, I asked the server for a spicy biryani. Everyone placed their orders, and we waited eagerly for our meals. Our first order was hot and sour soup. One of my friends requested fried noodles since he found the soup too spicy. This seemed to confuse the servers, leading them to call the manager. The manager informed us that fried noodles donât typically come with veg hot and sour soup. I insisted, and they eventually brought us the fried noodles, which, to our shock, werenât actually fried. My friends asked me to taste them, and I had to admit they were right.
We tried to keep our spirits up and waited for the starters. Unfortunately, it was Monday, and we received leftover chicken items that were excessively oily and had an unpleasant smell. My friends were visibly unhappy. When I called the manager, he nonchalantly informed us that the items were served as they came from the kitchen, indirectly admitting they were spoiled.
The main course brought another unpleasant surprise. I had ordered Konaseema biryani, a dish that includes mutton, chicken, fish, and prawn, but customized it to exclude mutton. The quantity of meat in the biryani was disappointingly small.
In summary, my experience at Zeeshan in Someswarwadi was far from pleasant. Here are a few points to consider before dining there:
There is a lack of proper communication between the kitchen and the servers. The staff seemed hesitant to convey customers' feedback. The kitchen staff, servers, and managers seemed to be working mechanically, without genuine concern for customer satisfaction. While other branches, like the one in Hinjewadi, offer good food, this branch seems to disregard customer health by serving subpar meals.
So, if you're considering Zeeshan in Someswarwadi, you might want to think twice. Perhaps porridge rice is a...
Read moreWe visited Zeeshan Restaurant based on its good reviews online, but our experience was far from what we expected. When we arrived, a reception party was going on, making the entire place crowded and chaotic. The entry to the restaurant was through the same gate as the function, and to our shock, we saw people washing their hands in a decorative fountainâdefinitely not something you'd expect at a quality dining place.
Once we placed our order, it took around 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Even something as basic as a masala papad took nearly 20 minutes, which is unacceptable. It seemed clear they were understaffed due to the event, but there was no communication or apology for the delay.
To make matters worse, after the long wait, they served us the wrong order, mixing up chicken and mutton dishes, which was extremely frustrating. We eventually decided to leave without even eating because the experience had already soured our mood.
The staff also seemed disinterested and unhelpful. When we asked about specific dishes, we were told to just âlook in the menuâ with no attempt to guide us or recommend any specialties. It felt like we were being a burden rather than welcomed guests.
Overall, a very disappointing visit. Poor service, chaotic atmosphere, and unprofessional staff. Would not recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and enjoyable...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences ever had. Previous staff was so much courteous and supportive ready to serve you, one of the example of their previous staff was Rahul. New staff is very arrogant and liar. Initially 2-3 persons were sitting one of the sitting area they taken lot of time to empty out the sitting area and asked me to sit at other area without any justification. Donât know whether they wanted to watch the IPL match rather than serving the customers. When asked one of serving staff for arrangements of additional two small tables, he refused to do so and given single table with arguments telling that other people will need it. For a surprise we were the only people who were sitting at the upper section of hotel and entire area was empty. When asked to call the manager, they never informed manager as he was not available in hotel during the incident and was not there till we left the hotel. One of the serving staff came and pretended that he was a manager and he was the same person who was sitting in that area when we arrived at the hotel. Even the food quality has deteriorated. Rice served with mandi was not tasty as it was used to delicious for initial multiple visits. Even the ghee roast always had a ghee used ooze out but today hardly any ghee was available. Not at all recommended. Definitely wonât be visiting this restaurant. Negative stars for the...
