Filament Bar (Baner) — Restaurant in Pune

Filament Bar in Baner was a complete nightmare. I went there with my office staff, hoping for a fun outing, but it ended up being a massive disappointment in every possible way.

Food – Where do I even begin? The food was atrocious. Tasteless, bland, and ridiculously overpriced. The pizza was the worst of the lot. The crust was as hard as titanium—seriously, it was like chewing on a brick. The sauce was smelly and tasted nothing like it should. It was just a sad, hard piece of bread with a horrible excuse for toppings. We tried a few other dishes, and they were all just as bad—bland, flavorless, and completely underwhelming.

Service – The service here was beyond frustrating. The waiters acted like they were on a mission to hover over us the entire time. No matter how many times we told them we’d call them when we needed something, they wouldn’t leave us alone. It felt like they wanted to listen in on our conversations, which was so uncomfortable. There’s no understanding of personal space or privacy here.

Music – Now, the DJ was the cherry on top of this disaster. What kind of place hires a guy who plays Honey Singh and Badshah on repeat? The music was nothing but loud, obnoxious, and totally out of place. This "chapri" DJ looked like he’d just come off some street corner party. I couldn’t understand why anyone would think that kind of music is suitable for a bar. If you can’t afford a decent DJ, just play a playlist instead of subjecting your customers to that ear-splitting garbage.

All in all, Filament Bar in Baner is a total waste of time and money. Terrible food, unprofessional staff, uncomfortable service, and awful music. This was the worst outing I’ve had in a long time, and I will definitely not be coming back. Don’t make the...

So tried this place last weekend and oh my god i felt so good trying out a place after the super looooong lockdown 😭senti hua yar ambience dekhe 😅I'm sure we All feel this way huh? So it's safe to say that they are following the necessary procedures to conduct business during this quarantine times okay!? Matlab Sanitization, contact details and temperature check etc. This place is specifically designed for hanging out with your friends. The ambience is so happening with posh wooden furniture, bar chairs, patios etc.

Let's talk about their brunch menu :- ON THE FIRE Mushroom & Egg Bhurji with Cheese served with Pav- I love mushrooms soooo 💯. Sunny Side up/Hard Boiled Eggs if you like it then go for it . Smoked Sausages/ Pepperoni tried this one and kinda loved it!!!!!!

Fully Loaded Nachos - chose this one, so do u even need to say it's good?

Thai Basil Prawns- friends tried it, they told me that they have it everytime they come here means it's good 😊.

BBO Mushroom Pizza--must have it hot 😍😍😍 thin crust pizza and in house dough.

Chicken Tikka Dum biryani, Grilled Mackerel with Home Made spices. I'm not a fish fan but my friend na she said it is simply scrumptious 🐠.

TAPAS Cheese cherry pineapple bachpanse people like it. Idhar bhi same!!!

I recently visited Filament Bar in Baner with my friends, and I must say, it was an awful experience that left us highly disappointed. From the food to the entertainment, nothing met even the most basic expectations.

Starting with the food, the pizza was downright pathetic. Honestly, a roadside thela (food cart) serves better pizzas than what we had here. It lacked flavor, the crust was underwhelming, and the sauce was far from fresh. For the price charged, this was unacceptable.

The DJ made matters worse. Initially, he played some decent English tracks, and we thought the vibe might improve. But soon after, his true colors emerged. He started playing Honey Singh tracks and mixing them with bizarre, irritating sound effects. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the quality of his playlist deteriorated with every passing song, turning the music into a complete mood killer.

Overall, the combination of subpar food, terrible music, and the lack of any redeeming quality made my first visit to Filament Bar a complete disaster. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good food or a lively atmosphere.
