Hutea-The Tea Hut — Restaurant in Punjab

This store has kept below Dhaba level of waiters at his posh level restaurant. I request owner to take strict action on this event and train their employees better, your staff members are very manner less.

Today we were sitting at Malhar road branch Time was near 8.15 pm. We were sitting normally at our table and waiting for our food,

One of there Waiter come and was about to pick one out of our four chair, we told him that it’s occupied then he goes. Which we ignored

Then after 5 mins there another waiter came and pickup our seasoning and chilly flanks from our table on his own, Without even asking and ran outside and place on another customer’s table, Which we ignored for twice.

( that waiter was wearing grey T-shirt and was of small height and was having plain moustache. Kindly see your Cctv. At 8 to 8.15 pm today. first front table from indoor entrance gate )

Then again after 2 min same person came and pick our ketchups without even asking and ran outside directly. This time we felt every much insulted and told their so called young manager that what kind of behaviour is this. He apologised a little on his own but that was not acceptable, we told him to cancel the ordered food which he denied and said ke sir

Ab to food order place ho Gaya hai ab cancel nahi hoga. Kya gundagardi hai bhai yeh ap logo ki

That grey T shirt waiter say that “ bacha bethe tha to Mai chilli. Utha ke le Gaya” par in reality. Woh chilli bahar Kisi or table wale ne Mangi thi to receiption se chilli lani ki mehnat na karke woh already occupied table se saman utha ke le Gaya. Woh bhi bima puche. Jase ham pagal betha hai.

There 2-3 staff members gathers and start giving reasons. But non of them told their waiter to correct his behaviour.

If this could happen in good restaurant like barbecue nation or kitchen 95 then they could have apologised very well and make 50% or 100% of bill complimentary, which we have experienced 1 year back. They gave us 50% discount on there mistake of poor service and there main manger personally came to our table and settled that matter professionally very well and also says that I will personally complaint about that staff and this will never...

i visited with my family and after dinner we were given bill it was for amount of 2680. My father took money out from his pocket and gave 6 notes of 500 i.e. 3000₹ to me and i counted it again and handed it to the waiter when he came. After few seconds he came back and said sir you have given only 5 notes of 500 and you have to pay ₹180 more. I said we have given you 3000 rupees and we sure about it as we counted it twice and then the staff started misbehaving with us after which we requested to check the cctv footage.They declined our request saying that they are busy now you check cctv footage tomorrow morning and you will have to pay for now and started behaving very rudely.We refused to pay and demanded the cctv footage to which the manager agreed. As he was about to start the cctv recording a second waiter came with 500 rs in his hand saying he found it on the floor where we have already checked.We argued that the waiter is now trying to cover his tracks and we must check the cctv recording to find the whole picture but the manager said to relax as the money was found and didn't show us the recording. Their staff is so bad and must i must say that the owner should look into it as it might be possible that ther are conning...

Take it as 2.5 stars, Not recommended for tea lovers....We have googled for a place to visit to have a good tea.... It shows The Tea Hut with 4.4 ratings and we decided to visit the place.... When we reached there our expectations become much higher after seeing the wonderful ambience and very innovative Menu Card..... As there are lot of options in the Menu Card so I hv called their guy and asked him to suggest the best chai they got.... He suggested us to have Masala chai and then we looked into the Menu and it was showing YE HMARI PEHCHAN H.... So we believe it would be the best they got... So we ordered a big pot of Masala Tea.... In almost 5 mins they had served it.... I wondered how chai could be prepared in less than 5 mins but still I was excited to have it.... It was served in old Ketli with 4 glasses and 2 small Parle G biscuit packs.... Till then all was going on good.... But when we sip in the tea served, we are looking at each other's faces and everyone felt cheated and disgusted.... So their PEHCHAN was really disappointing that Masala Chai without Masala not cooked properly.... So, not recommended for tea lovers but if u want to just enjoy the ambience then u...
