I have been writing about progressive Punjab and how is the food industry shifting gears in pb65 , however still we have very few places which deserve a 5 star ….. Places that have amazing ambiance. Polite service, food that touches your heart , 1 such place is surely jb’s . after hearing a lot about the place couldn’t resist myself for not paying a visit . the place is a part or should I say a restaurant of the zodiac hotel . the interior are very well done with bold and extensive use of wood .
Coming to the food -
Noodle peanut salad – must try – not much of a salad kind of a person but this was surely different , noodles with peanuts and vegges served in a glass jar is perfect for kids .
Tandoori chicken salad
Mushroom grilled sandwich- ‘in mood for some light snack with coffee , here u go .
Penne pasta with cream mushroom sauce – perfectly cooked pasta in béchamel sauce with nice amount of mushrooms .
Kesari paneer tikka – the paneer was fresh and crumbly , perfectly marinated and finished in the tandoor .
garlic bread - however wasnt toasted properly but the flavours and the freshness of the bread was on a different level Cheese malai tandoori (broccoli) – any 1 who doesn’t like broccoli , well this 1 definitely changed my thinking
Paneer veg seekh – melt in your mouth kebabs served with mint chutney and laccha pyaaz
Kalimirch chicken kebab – the chicken was juicy and tender .
Drinks break – I am a die heart coffee lover – cinnamon cappuccino , hazelnut cold-coffee are amazingly good .
Desi jeera and lemon mint mojito are super …must try , they are the best to give u a appetite .
Other than these their own creation , Oscar , a cocktail made with white wine is highly recommended .
Mains –

Subziyon ki rasleela
Butter chciken
Mutton ronganjosh
Veg patila biryani

Read moreJbs Kitchen had been on my list for a long time as many people had recommended it. I finally tried it recently and to sum up, it was worth the praises. I had not expected the place to be so pretty though. It is so beautiful, lovely interiors, very comfy kind of a place. They have a wide variety of dishes available for both veg and non veg lovers. The drinks were also very unique and refreshing. Let me enlist few of my favorites from the menu: Noodles and Peanut Salad- Oh I lovedddd this to bits. It was yummy, different and so light. Such a great preparation. Malai Broccoli- This is always one of my favorite dishes and this time too I loved it. It as well marinated and so very yumm. Mushroom Grilled Sandwhich – Anything with mushrooms is always my favorite but this one genuinely was a filling and delicious dish. In Indian mains I had Sabziyon ki Raasleela along with Grlic Naan and it was so good that I literally am craving for it as I write. One last thing I must mention is the veg Biryani which was one of the best I have had in town. Absolutely...
Read moreA nice dining place with family - a restro bar types. As compared to other places in that area it is much better. Hop in for dinner.
🔸Place - The sitting is perfect. Ambience is quite good. Decorated with holiday season theme the place has a warm feeling. 🔸 Food - Food presentation & taste is 8 on 10. We had the Malai Cheese Tikka & Chilli Mushroom gravy with Butter Naan & Tandoori Naan. I would love to try their non veg item also😛 🔸 Drinks - As it is a restaurant plus bar. So can order anything. We have ordered Rum Hot served with Spices 6 on 10 (Alert - the drink is light and person who prefer rum with water will totally hate this) 🔸Service - No doubt the staff is polite. They took care of Covid 19 precautions. But the service is bad at least we feel like. As they didn't provide dip with starter nor the salad or pickle anything with main course. The tissues are also not in place. The service was so slow might be due to lack of staff and New Year Time celebration.
Only go if you're with family. Will not suggest...
