The Beer Café — Restaurant in Punjab

On 7th August 2024 me and my friend visited here. We had good time until we got bill. They imposed 10% of service charge and denied for removing it by telling it's our restaurant rule that we have to collect service charges. The manager at this franchise in pavillion mall Ludhiana such a dude person don't even know how to behave with customer, we were talking patiently but he was continuously fighting with us. Are these above supreme court, I don't understand if supreme court verdict tells me that it's customer choice to pay service charge but that man was telling it's our restaurant rule to take service charge is mandatory. One of the worst experience in The Beer Cafe Ludhiana. I will not recommend this restaurant...

Service was good. The place has been empty for a long time now. During my visit there were NO other guests. 2 staff members present. Average knowledge about ingredients but pretty helpful with requests and or modifications. Negligible lighting in the patio/balcony seating area. Need torch or flashlight to even read the menu. Good food, not great! Reduced serving sizes (quantities). Less value for money in relation to food. If you’re there try the special fried chicken paprika dish. Sorry i do not remember the name. Served with chipotle sauce and fries. I’d give 4 stars for the drinks; offers and service but overall a strong 3.5 Better to go during daylight on a good...
