We had gone to Mount Abu for a holiday before lockdown and visited Joji’s as the location is best one in abu. It’s right on the road leading to nakki lake & in middle of the main tourist market.
There is a lovely Gamezone on the ground floor with massage chair and fish spa. It’s so convenient to leave the kids there while we were enjoying our drink.
On the first floor is the bar...it has a lovely view of the market and a nice family ambience inside. All the top wines and beers are available. There also a 7D cinema here which was one of the most amazing experiences we had in abu.
On the second floor is actually the terrace. It’s open to sky with a lovely ambience. Nice music with the wind blowing in your hair and lovely cold hill station vibe ... what else can a man ask for.
In the food we had tandoori mushroom, paneer tikka. The mushrooms were yummy perfect taste and marination with earthy flavours. The paneer tikka was lajawab... very soft melt in the mouth. For main course we butter naan which was so soft I could t believe it. Black dal was creamy with the dal being welll cooked. It was really delicious. The curry we had was mixed veg , it was pretty decent. There is non veg too but we prefer vegetarian.
The owner was very friendly and very helpful. He also helped us to find a couple of good trekking spots in abu. Initially the staff was a little slow but we didn’t mind as we got a chance to enjoy the weather and we weren’t in a hurry. Pls do visit this awesome place and I can assure you that you will not be...
Read moreI think this is a one of a kind place around this area. I haven't really seen a restaurant with an open bar, rooftop seating and live music in the Nakki Lake market. I entered as soon as the place opened on a Saturday evening. Customers started to come in rapidly as the guest musician started playing Bollywood classics. The service is pretty fast but the servers were not very friendly. Also, I would have appreciated it if they had swept up the floors. I tried a couple of flavors of Zorba, local wine. The anar (pomegranate) was really sweet but not bad. The date was a bit drier and better. I moved on to the famous Rajasthani liqueur, Maharani Manesar. I had a couple shots of the Som Raas and Paan flavors, which were strong and nuanced with spices as usual. I also had a mint mojito that was decent. The chicken malai tikka and chicken pizza were pretty good. The prices are reasonable and the vibe is really great. Would recommend this place to people who are looking for a chill evening. P.S. - From what I saw, this place seemed to be crowded with groups of men getting smashed on beer and shouting. However, there were decent groups and...
