LAKE INN — Hotel in Rajasthan

On the basis of my general observations and experience below is the detailed feedback on the basis of my 2.5 days stay with my family at this property in recent past (19/8/24 to 21/8/24). The location is very strategic (very near to Nakhi Lake & the main market.). Access road is a bit troublesome as four wheelers are not allowed on the lake side road & hence one needs to use the backside road (Very steep slope).

Rooms size / light and ventilation. The rooms on the front side (Curved walls on 1st & 2nd floor) is comparatively smaller than that of the other rooms. Light & ventilation for the rooms on the back side might be a bit low, however that cannot be considered as major problem. We normally roam out in the day time & hence natural light in rooms if less importance. More importantly the property is maintained well. The rooms are neat and tidy. Washrooms too are maintained well. Ambience is quite simple and decent. Staff behaviour and service. The entire staff behaves very well and attends to all your queries within the time frames. Right from the help desk to the Bell boys, all of them understand and serve very well with a smiling face. Food / meals. Food served here is just fantabulous. Quality and quantity both are taken care very greatly. (In our case we had given special requirements so as to help kids consume all the dishes and the same was taken care very correctly.) Initially they took a bit of time to serve but when they served it, the preparation and presentation both were very much upto the mark. Parking space. There is ample parking space just besides the property. It can accommodate 8-9 cars easily (Including the space available in front.) Pricing / tariffs. I personally feel that the tariffs are a bit on higher side (since this is strategically located – just near the Nakhi lake, this may be one of the reasons for higher tarrifs.) However a little bit of reasonable figure could have had been better. Tip – To get the best deals, one must avoid the peak seasons / long weekends / festive seasons. Odd days / off season when the demand is less, you may be lucky to get good best deals.

We visited Hotel Lake Inn in January 2024 for 3 days. |We were allotted front room on first floor.|Room is very nice for a couple plus one. Very clean and well organised. Hot water is available 24/7. The hotel is located just opposite of the Nakki Lake. Though there is not view from the room, there is gallery just out of the room which gives beautiful view of the Nakki Lake. Breakfast was included in the package and was very tasty. Many variety are included in the breakfast. Only veg and egg food is available. Preparation of food is very good. Many sight seeing places are near to the hotel.|Things we found little uncomfortable are that above the room there is terrace and lot of noise was coming, may be from the other occupants which was very disturbing. After complaining the managers tried to solve the issue. Secondly there only one window for ventilation. We advise the management to make the provision in one more available windows which are packed with glass and also to take care that there will not be any disturbance from the terrace to the rooms on first floor.|Overall experience was very good.
