Okayish cafe at best with a nice view of the lake and sunset
We ordered Greek salad but the salad was missing the dressings which would make it a Greek salad. The feta cheese used was generous. Beetroot is usually not used in a Greek salad but it was used here :)
Further we ordered a Spanish rice veggie dish which was good.
The issue is with service which was a bit too slow as we were served with food after 30-40 mins and interestingly enough the waiter as well as the manager were pretty stoned with the waiter being forgetful and pretty much slow due to the high. Also there's beer available (not mentioned in the menu) at like 250 rs so I guess that could be an attraction
Note: It's located on the 4th floor of the building and there are no elevators and the ratings of this place seems a little misleading

They offer a decent brewed coffee (Espresso, Americano, Iced Americano) , although the no fuss French Press @ laughing buddha is arguably better.
Crepes (folded pancakes) are good and that is all i can say because that is all i ordered.
They definitely have a good view of the lake and like all cafés in Pushkar they sell an assortment of wood fired thin-crust Pizzas and some varieties of Pasta (sauce and preparation, not necessarily the pasta itself).
This is a good place to hop into for a lazy afternoon in my opinion and I'll leave it at that. You can smoke here, if that is your disposition.
Do inquire about the off-menu items if you are so inclined.
Service is generally prompt.
I don't think cafés in Pushkar should be judged on the usual parameters of menu eclecticism, cutlery, etc. The cutlery was decent and in general the menu will satisfy those of junk food disposition as well as those of a slightly more refined traveler's pallette.
New important parameter: Good place to dine for a...
Read moreAnother rooftop cafe/restaurant popular with the western tourist. Views are lovely from the roof. We ordered drunks and evening food; pizza, pasta & falafel dishes. We asked that it all was served at the same time and was told that the pizza would take 30 mins if we were Ok with waiting. Almost an hour later and I was becoming hangry, we asked for the falafel and pasta to be served. The falafel was dry, overcooked and not seasoned enough and the fries were getting cold so this plate of food must have been waiting to be served. Pasta was mediocre. Pizza was very good but it took an hour. I know the place advertises it's pizzas being made on a wood burning stove, so keep the stove ready to cook and not light it up when you have an order. Prices reasonable for tourists. I'd visit again but would adjust my food order. Also, most of these places have the wicker chairs, and the seat sinks over time & use. I suggest cushions are placed in the seat well for a...
