The place has so much potential.. Went there 4 times in total, partly due to the lack of other places that open up in the morning before 8:30. Unfortunately we made very mixed experiences:
1st we went in the afternoon to check the place, after 20 minutes that we have been ignored by the service guy, we asked him if we could place an order and he replied that we would need to wait another 5 minutes. Directly went to another coffee place nearby (same as another group of people that were ignored).
2nd time we checked early in the morning. We were able to place our order but had to wait like 45 minutes for one of the two dishes to arrive… Having breakfast together is something different i guess..
3rd time we wanted to give the place another chance and went early in the morning again: My outmeal arrived in acceptable time, Müsli of my wife took again like 45 minutes longer than my outmeal while mueslis went out to other tables to people that arrived 20 mins later than we did…
4th time we did not have much time as we needed to catch an early transfer.. As no other place is open so early we approached the service guy and asked if we could directly place an order it would need to be served without waiting 40 mins.. Which worked fortunately and reconciled us a little with the place.. However, our request to substitute apples with another fruit in the muesli was never fulfilled several times..so people allergies should’ve careful..
Overall the view on the lake is great, the fruit quality is good, the amount of fruit in the muesli is the most in town, fresh fruit juices are tasty and the coffee is fine as well. However, the service time and quality is .. frightening.. One guy needs to take the orders, brings out the food and drinks and is in charge to make coffee and really struggles when more than like 4 tables are occupied.. If this can be resolved, place would be great - currently it can be an extremely frustrating experience...
Read moreCafe Lake View in Pushkar is an absolute gem! First off, the food is just delicious. We tried the beetroot salad and a white pasta dish, and both were fantastic. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation was lovely. But what really sets this place apart is its location. It's situated right by Pushkar Lake, and the view from the restaurant is simply wonderful. You have to climb a few stairs to get there, but trust me, it's so worth it for the amazing view you get.
The ambience of the cafe adds to the whole experience. It has this really great vibe that makes you feel relaxed and at ease. And the staff? They're incredibly nice and attentive. They made sure everything was just right, without being overbearing.
Another thing we appreciated was how clean everything was. It's clear they take pride in their establishment. Plus, the food came out quickly, which is always a bonus. You can actually see in to the kitchen - which we loved because we knew everything was clean and fresh.
The cafe is located halfway down the main market road, so it's pretty easy to find. All in all, Cafe Lake View is a must-visit if you're in Pushkar. We would definitely eat here again!

Read moreThe service is not good but it's an amazing place to work from, enjoy the views and chill. None of the staff spoke good english and it would be okay as long as they were nice and helpful, which is not the case. Still I give it 4 stars because I liked the place itself and I think it would be very easy to improve with a bit of effort. First day I ordered a pancake and after tasting it I realized something was wrong, it had mold in it. What really pissed me off is the guy tried to convinced me it wasn't mold. In the end they changed it for another thing. Internet worked well for an hour and afterwards didn't work at all. The day after I decided to give it another chance because I liked the location and the views and I had a tzatziki toast, which was good. Later I ordered porridge and they forgot to bring it, maybe because restaurant was busy. I was trying to ask the guy if they forgot so I could tell them not to bring it anymore, as I was ready to leave. He didn't give me the chance to finish my sentence and said "2 minutes" so I ended up eating it. That day wifi worked perfectly and...
