After visiting Chittor Fort our cab driver parked the vehicle in front of Barbrik Restaurant and asked us to have our lunch. We saw the restaurant and decided to have some tea and snacks for a while as we were not sure about the quality of food and hygiene issue. We ordered tea and in snacks we asked some vegetable pakoras. Pakora was served with our tea and coffee order. It was super yummy. There was some chutney on table with tangi garlic taste. It was awesome and super delicious. We talked to Mr. Nagendra Singh Rathore, The maternal uncle of owner Mr.Rishi, who told us that it was made by her mother by grinding all ingredients on a piece of stone grinder by herself. He told us that they are all family members who are involved in cooking and serving home made food to their guests. We asked for fried rice but they give us vegetables pulav and it was also super tasty. At first we were not interested in food and ordered for tea and coffee. But now on pretext of Mr. Rathore , We ordered for authentic Rajasthani Dal Bati and Churma. Really it was having authentic Rajasthani taste with home touch. We were surprised how they guys are serving people with home made food. But no body knows them. Only tourists guides and cab drivers are their source of customers. Then I asked him and clicked pictures with him so that we may put a review on Google. Hence the review for a super tasty and authentic food in Chittorgarh with proper hygiene and clean washroom. There couldn't be a better way to end the Chitrorgarh fort visit than a perfect platter of home cooked Rajasthani food.

Food - Their Special Rajasthani Thali is served with a mouth watering selection of traditional curries- ker sangri, kadhi pakoda, gatte ki sabji and the taste is surely authentic. This thali is quite overwhelming given its price and quantity. Next, we tried their Dal Baati Churma thali, and they were kind enough to show how exactly one should try this dish to enjoy it to the fullest. We visited during peak tourist season due to which the restaurant was pretty crowded. This was causing some delay in getting the food served.

Ambience - They have both indoor and outdoor sitting options. Every part of the restaurant is decorated to reflect the rich cultural significance of Rajasthan.

Service - A special shout out to the their attention to detail. The owner and staff paid equal attention to every customer despite being an...
