First thing you will notice after coming here is crowded and suffocation of kitchen fumes. In one big hall they have put tables so closely that you won't be able to move properly. They have only on small exhaust fan in that hall which is insufficient to remove that stinch of kitchen fumes. We all started coughing immediately after entering there. Than again due to crowd waiter keeps you waiting for longer time. They also don't take order properly. We had kids with us so we ordered less spicy food. But food they surved had extra red chillies in those. Which were not edible to even adults. While asking for some sweets they say, no sweets. When we tried to convey our discomfort with owners. They started behaving like rowdies. When we said what's wrong in conveying our views, which were for their improvement. They behaved arrogantly. Tourist place like Jaisalmer, which is known for hospitality, this kind of rowdy behaviour is unexpected. So of their Gunda friends also tried to scold us. When I took out camera to record, they were like let me call more gunddas. We went there for their reviews but I guess these reviews are forged....

On our first day in Jaisalmer, we stopped here for lunch and were blown away by the flavors. We ordered a mix of North Indian and Rajasthani dishes, and every bite left us craving more. The gatta curry was the absolute highlight—rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best versions we’ve ever had. The Shree Jee Special Paneer and the dal tadka paired perfectly with fresh rotis, making the meal wholesome and deeply satisfying.

What added to the experience was the staff—the servers and waiters were polite, attentive, and well-behaved, ensuring everything went smoothly.

Hi everyone. This is the BEST restaurant in entire Jaisalmer. You would be suggested few other restaurants by local when you come here but ignore all others. Only go to Shree Jee Excellency. Everything is best here. Food is too awesome. Rajasthani Food is speciality obviously but Punjabi and Chinese or even South Indian, all type of cuisine is too too good. The taste, quantity, value for money all is the best. One must try Govind Gatta & Ker Sangari Sabji here.
