Al Basheer Biriyani — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It was a weekday and there is no power in home. So I thought of visiting a hotel instead ordering in zomoto because of power shutdown. I have heard, there is some hotel in karapakam area which is giving unlimited biriyani for 100rs. I searched in youtube and got the hotel name, after that I went to check the google reviews. The reviews sounds like its is a good hotel so i got over excitement and went to the hotel with an expectation like I will be having some stomach full of delicious biriyani. I reached that hotel by 12.30. They asked me to get the token and i have ordered 1 chicken 65 along with unlimited biriyani. Here comes the disappointment.

Instead of chicken 65 (5-6 good boneless pieces)they have given me a chicken pakoda( 8-9 small pieces with bone ). I tasted the first piece of that chicken and i understood it was made at 2AM (they usually provide early morning biriyani ) and it is 10hrs old. Horrible one.

They have given me a plate full of biriyani with one biriyani piece with 3 chicken pakoda pieces. The first impression itself disappointment. It is like a 20% biriyani with 80% of tomato rice. Complete worthless one.

I understand for 100 how you are expecting a good biriyani, I have tasted many briyani's from many restaurants, hotels and road side kai endhi shops. I have tasted biriyani for even 60-80rs from many shops but here for 100rs they are only providing some less quality food. I won't say that is biriyani.

Finally this hotel made me to understand this. Quality over quantity. If you want to have some good biryani give a try to other shop for 100-120rs. If you want to have something for unlimited without minding the taste for 100rs I am suggesting this shop....

We went to this shop around early morning 3 am , after we watched the RRR movie we found this in YouTube since we are hungry at the moment . They are located near karapakkam . Next to Hotchips shop .

We almost waited 30 mins after we reached the shop at 3 am . They were preparing the second set of biriyani. Then they called for self service to get the biriyani by yourself , though you can see some service boys walking around .

Each biriyani they charged for 140/- they served huge amount of biriyani with small pieces of biriyani chicken and 3 cubes of chicken 65 . You can order chiclen 65 separately with 9 to 12 piece charged 120/- rs .

I would say , the social media created that much hype to made my expection to top , for that so i didnt like the biriyani much , it taste like simple boiled rice with spices . I was completely disappointed that early morning . But still you can see lots of ppl flooding over there . This might be my opinion for my perpespective . You guys can try and...

This is my Worst experience of having Biryani from this shop They are charging Rs 130/- for Chicken Biryani but pieces are very bad. They say it's normal Biryani not 65 Biryani still 2 useless 65 bone pieces along with boiled piece 2 nos.will be in the whole Biryani, when asked about that next time, only 1 leg piece along with 2 useless bone piece, totally 3 piece not worth for Rs.130/- After the second you make payment a person will readily put the already stuffed box without showing what he packed inside. Pls don't buy from this shop it's not worth at all. Very worst service.The person who packs the box already stuffed is the one to be sent out from the shop. Never ever...
