Hot Chips Veg Restaurant near KCG College offers a decent dining experience, but it has its fair share of drawbacks. The food quality is acceptable, with a menu covering popular South Indian and fast food options, but nothing stands out as exceptional. It’s the kind of place you go for a quick meal, not for a memorable culinary experience.
One major downside is the pricing. The rates are considerably high for the food quality and portion sizes offered. It doesn’t feel value-for-money, especially for students or those seeking a budget-friendly option near the college.
The hotel follows a self-service model, which works fine during off-peak hours. Read moreHotchips, one of the joints where in they make self-service very trendy. Before I start to talk about the food and quality, let me first talk about the structure of Hotchips, wherein you go first straight to the cashier, give your order, followed by which you get individual receipts for your items in the order and after which you finally move into another section to give this bill, wherein they acknowledge the order and take the order and finally you get the order. Now, for anyone reading this review and has never been to Hotchips ,it's safe to assume that it's a very crazy system. But let me tell you what I've noticed, this system is very efficient simply because many people mostly the IT crowd and their family, where in rush hour is all through out the day. So this process of waiting in queues does not make you impatient to find a seat, because you always will find a seat in the end. Coming to the food quality. As the name says it is hot and is freshly made. Cannot say authentic, but good for people who would like to grab a snack in a more Chennai flair. I would recommend the Ghee dosai and their signature filter coffee. Not commenting on their filter coffee, because words cannot describe it's taste....
