Hotel O Jeyam Residency — Hotel in Zone 14 Perungudi

Doesn’t even deserve one star. This place is a SCAM and looks like a crack house! I fully paid online, yet when I got there they told me I had to pay more (a lot more). Mind you, having a price online that doesn’t match price on arrival is ILEGAL AND WRONG! Then I tell them that and they refuse to give a refund, tell me to cancel my online booking myself (which I cannot do as it was a no cancel booking and no money back), and they then ignore me, refuse to speak in English to me anymore (when they were speaking to me in English just fine), refuse to help me nor even look at me. When I tell them they have no respect they just laugh at me. Online Price says it includes breakfast, but after paying extra money.. they still didn’t give breakfast! Told them “ah yes and I need to pay to get your respect too?” And they said “yes”.

This place will treat you HORRIBLY and like a piece of dirt. Ruined my whole chennai experience.

Also rooms were GROSS AND UNHYGIENIC! You can tell the place hasn’t been properly cleaned in years! Had to ask for a new pillow and new sheet twice as they were dirty!

The hotel is maintained good. I am satisfied with first day of stay.

Pros:

1. It is an 4bh apartment. So apart from bedroom, there is a shared Hall that is a plus for relax.
2. Has car parking space which is plus if you have car.
3. Hot water heater and AC is there.

Concern: 1)The road is not good to reach the hotel. 2) NO FREE BREAKFAST as advertised. 3) NO room service. Phone not working. Receptionist not that co-operative. 4) AC there but controls were still a mystery and end up sleeping under very cold conditions. 5) LIFT not working.

I honestly telling you not to book this hotel. I m writing this review in middle of road when oyo did not provide any help. Like you i ignored the negative reviews, u also please dont make the same mistake i did. Read the review before you make booking

I made booking via agoda in this oyo. Hotel. Manager syays the booking is not updated. So we cant give ypu room. When i called oyo cuatomer care multiple times, they rejected they cant help. Oyo hoyel manager says he accept call only from oyo and he doesnt vare about agoda and otjer website booking.
