Ambur Star Biriyani — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Destined with the worst experience at Star Biriyani @ Annanagar, unlike the other branches where staff are friendly and responsible.

The Biriyani was sticky - when asked, they said it could be the batch and could be the masala this time!

The mutton chukka was a damn small portion, dry and tasteless - when asked, the ‘so called’ Manager came into picture - and dared to remove all of the served portion from our plate. Not sure who on earth touches the served portion of anything off anyone’s plate!! Is that all they have learnt, coming from hospitality background?

Star Biriyani management - the Annanagar branch staff are to be trained better! You could lose your reputation if this continues!!

After all this mayhem - we were told the chukka wasn’t billed, we didn’t eat it anyway! And we were asked - what is to be done on the billing? Despite suggestions from us, we were given a peanut 15% off on the bill. What frustrated us was - the repeated senseless justification from the Manager who repeatedly claimed he wasn’t justifying - and further billed us!

Would rate you 1 for the attitude and irresponsible response of yours!

Wasted 1200rs I a'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Ananagar Star Biryani, a place I've been a fan of for its delicious biryani. Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the food have taken a downturn.

Food Taste: The food wasn't good, and they didn't provide hot food. The egg podimas was too salty and spicy. The mutton biryani, which costs ₹370, wasn't worth it. It's hard to believe this was once my favorite place. Atmosphere: They used some phenyl on the floor, and the smell was unpleasant. Raita (Thayir Pachadi): There was no salt in it. Service: I must appreciate the entrance of the hotel and the service provided by the staff. They did their work perfectly. Feedback: I wanted to speak to the manager to raise a complaint, but due to the crowd, I didn't want to cause a scene I was about raise my voice but 😐 As a middle-class family, we occasionally treat ourselves to hotel food, but this experience was a total disappointment.wasted 1200rs

Worst place and not hygienic at all. Found a big insect in butter chicken masala. Got sick bcoz of this food. In one of the reviews given here, the consumer stated that they found half blade in biryani, clearly this is not the first time it is happening... Never trust this restaurant.....

Two months after the above incident, We went to this restaurant again becoz we were on time crunch ( didn't have other option at that time) and we assumed that insect incident might be a mistake ..but after this visit it is very clear that their services are at fault .. Basically they don't care about the customers, they service disinterestedly ..They kept us waiting even though tables are free , we reminded them, then they showed us a table, even after that when 3 people sit at one table usually at any restaurant they keep plates for 3 but here they assumed by themselves that only 2 are gonna eat, even that basic things also we had to ask...Now I truly believe that insect incident also happened becoz " THEY DONT CARE "...Giving this restaurant a second chance is a...
