"Haunted" multi-cuisine restaurant left me with mixed feelings and a somewhat disappointed palate. While the buffet and starters showed promise, there were several aspects of the dining experience that fell short of expectations.
Let's start with the positives. The buffet spread at "Haunted" was commendable, offering a variety of dishes from different cuisines. The selection was diverse, and there were plenty of options to satisfy different tastes. The starters, in particular, stood out with their flavorful combinations and well-prepared presentations. Each bite was enjoyable and left me looking forward to the main course.
However, the absence of a welcome drink was a notable disappointment. It's a small gesture that can make a significant impact on the overall dining experience. I was hoping for a refreshing beverage to set the tone for the meal, but unfortunately, it was missing.
Another letdown was the dominant taste of eggs in the cakes. While I understand that eggs are a common ingredient in baking, the taste was overpowering and overshadowed the flavors that one expects from a cake. It was disheartening, as desserts should be a highlight of any dining experience, but in this case, they fell short of expectations.
Furthermore, the sharp-edged tables were a safety concern. Dining should be a comfortable experience, and having tables with sharp edges can pose a risk, especially for families with children. It's essential for the establishment to prioritize customer safety and ensure that all furniture is well-maintained and hazard-free.
The most disappointing aspect, however, was the atmosphere. The presence of meat blood and fish in an unclean manner created an unpleasant environment. A clean and sanitary dining space is crucial for both the enjoyment of the meal and the overall well-being of the guests. This aspect of the restaurant fell far below the expected standards, and it significantly impacted my overall experience.
In conclusion, while "Haunted" multi-cuisine restaurant showed promise with its buffet variety and flavorful starters, several aspects left me feeling unsatisfied. The absence of a welcome drink, the overpowering taste of eggs in the cakes, the sharp-edged tables, and the unclean atmosphere marred what could have been a more enjoyable dining experience. It is my hope that the management addresses these areas of improvement to provide a more pleasant and memorable visit for their patrons.

Read moreThe Haunted House in Anna Nagar promises an eerie and thrilling experience for visitors seeking a scare. While it delivers on the spook factor, there are some areas where it could improve to enhance the overall visitor experience.
Ambiance and Scare Factor: The atmosphere is suitably creepy, with dim lighting, eerie sound effects, and detailed decor that create a genuinely haunting environment. The actors are committed to their roles, providing unexpected scares that keep you on edge throughout the visit.
Hygiene: However, hygiene is an area that requires attention. While the haunted house is understandably dark and dusty to add to the ambiance, there were noticeable issues with cleanliness in some areas. Ensuring that pathways and common touchpoints are regularly cleaned would make the experience more comfortable without detracting from the spooky vibe.
Pricing: The pricing is reasonable for the experience offered. At around ₹500 per person, it’s an affordable outing for thrill-seekers. However, given the hygiene concerns, some might feel that the cost could be slightly adjusted or that the management could invest a bit more in maintaining cleanliness without compromising the haunted house's eerie setting.
Conclusion: The Haunted House in Anna Nagar is worth a visit for those looking to get their adrenaline pumping with a good scare. With improvements in hygiene, it could easily become a top-tier attraction. For now, it stands as a fun, if slightly flawed, experience at a fair price.

Read moreYesterday with friends i have visited the place. I can say this place is not worth for spending 649(veg)/749(non veg). Once we entered we thought we might have a good experience but disappointed. The room was over crowded not even pleasant. Too much of noisy. Its AC room but we all were sweating a lot. We requested to change temp but they refused. Service: it was worst. Please learn Hindi if u r visiting here, non of the waiter understand tamil nor English. No water no plates after asking 3-4 waiters we got it. Continuously for name sake they filled plates with all starters thats made me to feel tat ‘enada ithu elathayum kumichta ithula ena dish vachanga ena sapdrathu 😤’ . One of my friend requested the waiter to keep one more pieces of chicken, they refused. had worst feel.
Coming to taste of food: All the items were below average. Not even hot. Even the desert items was below average. Ice cream only 2 verities tat too vanilla got over and no one was there to keep new box.
Elderly people had pineapple & watermelon pieces thanks tat at least they had something to eat.
The even worst part is my friends were about to finish their lunch, the chief waiter/ supervisor asked us all to mover to next table with our plates. I said that we are abt to complete our meal but they said next slots has been booked we need to clean so pls move. If this happens to you what u will do? Do u want to visit this place ? Think for urself dont lose ur money and ur respect.
