The Anna Nagar Ayyappan Temple, also known as Anna Nagar Ayyappan Koil, is a revered spiritual and cultural landmark in Chennai. Built by the Sri Ayyappa Seva Samajam, the temple began in 1979 as a modest thatched shed with a charitable medical centre. It was later designed in traditional Kerala style by Kanipayyur Krishnan Namboodiri and officially consecrated in 1984.
The temple houses a Panchaloha idol of Lord Ayyappa and includes shrines for Ganesha, Subramanya, Durga, Hanuman, Navagrahas, and Nagaraja. Daily rituals, including Mahaganapathy and Mrityunjaya homams, are conducted by Kerala Namboodiri priests. For past 25 years I did in other temple. And we keep the Ghee for next pilgrimage time. I feel this is duplicate Ghee. You can charge more price and give quality of products. Please discuss with devotees and improve. Actually I decided next time I should not plan here. If the temple management changes the quality of Ghee and materials.
